Why can't it just be that? Because it isn't. JVG specifically said it wasn't about injuries and that he was going to keep it in-house. If he was resting him, he would have said that. And the Houston announcers and ESPN announcers backed it up. It might not be a big deal, but it's not what you said. There is, or at least was, a problem. Uprising: I also seriously doubt it was about JVG being tired of answering questions. I don't even know why you'd think that. Van Gundy knows what he's doing when he talks to his players through the media. We may not always agree with the method, but it is a method. If it was no big deal, then saying that'd be the quickest way to put an end to the issue. Saying he's going to keep it "internal" is the quickest way to fan the flames.
i think he was here in H-town maybe jvg are giving him time to rest like (ex-)rockets francis and mobley
That's cool, Rik. I'm just kind of surprised everyone thinks it's no big deal, especially on a board where people love to make a big deal out of anything. the game 2234: What does that mean? Of course he was in Houston. The whole team was. And he was at the game too. And no, he's not giving him time to rest. He already said it wasn't that.
All right Gumshoes, put on your thinking caps...its time to play Where in the World is Keeeelllllvin Caaato? Rockapella take it awayy....
Let's hope the Cato situation blows over. Unlike SF, Cato would be difficult to trade, unless the Rocket's took a bad contract in return. So much drama coming from a team that has accomplished so little. Raven
Any new news? This is bizzare. I didn't think anything of him not playing, I just assumed he was resting his injuries. It would be idiotic for him not to start against the Lakers. Did JVG not see the boost he gave us as soon as he came off the dl?
