For some reason, I tire of Webber these days.

I would take our own free agents and defer the shopping spree until next year. This draft is really deep and we can definitely get quality in the draft.

    1. Webber
    2. Mutumbo
    3. Dream
    4. Sabonis
    5. Davis

I would love to see the African Twin Towers here. Dream playing some power forward would be excellent. Part of Tim Duncan's success is playing the four spot. How many power forwards in the league could guard Dream, or shoot over him?

And Dream has never had the luxury of having a bigger man to back him up, at least not in recent memory. The closest we have come to that in recent times was Kevin Willis, who is not a defensive player.

Anybody know what it would take financially to get Dikembe here?

I'm in agreement with forming the "African Assault" team in the low post. With Dream at the 4, and Mo-T a solid and offensive minded backup, we would only need a non-H.S. SF to come in and help on D. With Dream, Franchise and Cat providing the "O", and the defense of Deke and Dream, we might once again be "unstoppable".

We still have to keep Moochie. The value he has would not truly be known until he was gone. We don't want to go backwards in production and chemistry!!!

If we are going to "Dream" about FA's then let's talk about Dikembe!!

Yeah, RRUs, I really do not want to see the Mooch anywhere else. He is a true point guard and plays with heart. Everytime I see him play, it makes me want to put Maloney, Price and Drew in a tow sack and drop them off the nearest pier.

I love Steve, and want to see him continue at the point, but Moochie has far superior playmaking skills at this time. Steve is such an incredible talent that his talent overcomes his lack of long term experience at the point.

I don't know maybe its just me, but I'm just not that impressed with Mo-Taylor. When you starting point guard average more rebounds than your starting power forward(6.9 to 5.5) something's not right. C-Webb can rebound (he's a career double-double player). The only thing you really have to question is will the addition of C-Webb screw-up team chemistry?

I think Smokey and Rockets-R-Us are right.

If Webber is too pricey, then the chance of having both Olajuwon and Mutombo would still be formidable.

Paying up for a superstar might not be the solution,as Fran B. wrote in an article.

Maybe get Radmanovic for a draft pick and get two proven veterans, to play with Steve Francis.

    Hmmm...possibility?
