What chance? He will be a free agent next offseason. He’s not re-signing here. Giannis and Russ in the playoffs together will be a joke, and when they lose and Giannis leaves, we’ll look extremely stupid having given away our best asset by far and a perennial MVP candidate for basically nothing.

What makes people think we wouldn’t trade Westbrook if we acquired Giannis? Yeah, he is not a great three-point shooter at 25 but he’s improved every year and is one of the best defensive players in the NBA. His stats are right up there with the top 5 players in the history section of the NBA... better than Olajuwon. His PER last year was the best in NBA history. Hell, it takes one step fro him to get from the FT line to the rim for a dunk. I’m game. It would be foolish to not consider this trade given the state of the Rockets team and the low probability of Harden bringing a championship to Houston. Hell, for one, would be excited about having a guy that makes a highlight reel out of high flying dunks and blocked shots.

Can we trade Max Kellerman for TV silence? I'd go for that!

Strange take from him, though. Hasn't he been the poster child for the down with Harden movement?

In any case, if it comes out of his mouth, you can be fairly certain its stupid.

If it was a Harden for a Young, Healthy Kevin Durant.

You make that trade. A Real Sharpshooter to rebuild the team.

Giannis is the the most flawed player. Since Westbrook.

Wilt Chamberlain is more of a All Around Talent more than Giannis.

Haha...Wilt was a more all around talent than almost anybody in the NBA ever. Led the league in pretty much every category at some point in his career--poits, assists, rebounds, blocks..not sure about steals.

I doubt Harden would want to go to the Bucks and would demand a trade as soon as traded. If the Bucks felt like Giannis was going to leave, and they had no shot of keeping him, the best thing to do would be to get a list of 3 to 5 teams Giannis wants to go to, and have them bid each other to death to get an Anthony Davis type of deal.

If Giannis said he wanted to go to Houston, and did not intend to resign with the Bucks, I think you could work out a solid 3 way trade with a team like Golden State to get Harden to a win now team.

But yeah, this only is any sort of reality if:

A: Giannis wants to leave the Bucks
    B. Harden wants to leave Houston to go to a contender
    C. Giannis says that Houston is on his list
    D. There's a good third team that has a trade package to compensate the Bucks in a three team deal

Not necessarily a slam dunk scenario to say the least.
