2057 wins since 1979, only about 5 wins a season behind #1 Yankees

    1. Yankees 2180 .556
    2. D-Backs 524 .539
    3. Braves 2088 .533
    4. Red Sox 2081 .530
    5. Astros 2057 .523

Damn it we better get a 1 in that WS column this year...these Astros have been twisting my balls worse than the Oilers ever did...I just bout gave up on the Oilers after that Chief loss at home..if the `stros choke again I might just have a giant Astros bonfire in my backyard and be done with it

    :)

Pretty impressive. Of course, if we didn't have such a lousy owner, we'd have won .700 of our games and eight World Series.

    :D

The Houston teams seem to have problems with playoffs. The Oilers never managed to do jack in the NFL playoffs despite fielding several Super Bowl caliber teams. The Astros are 0-For playoff series, even though they're good enough to be in the playoffs many times. If it weren't for the 2 Rockets championships in the early 90s, I'd be inclined to think there was a curse on Houston sports.

That's pretty impressive, since we haven't made it to the WS...

In another note, I saw where Bagwell was #6 on the HR list of active players...I think it said 421...Again, this is impressive given the fact that most of his blast came in the Dome...

Actually, that's pretty impressive, since we haven't even won a single playoff series. :)

I think it kinda funny that the D-backs are on there even though it is since 79. They only have 1/4 of the other team's wins.

They're on there for their winning percentage.
