    Right, except that 40% is going to believe it regardless of what Joe Biden says so there is no pay off to commenting on it at this point.

    Perhaps the dynamics change in a day or week, but not now.

    The longer he waits, the more he convinces those people that he has something to hide. I just think it's not the best approach, tactically.

    I don't expect he'd convince all of them, but even if it's just a fraction of them that's better than nothing.

    I think it’s only widely believed by hardline Trump followers.

    The problem with responding to misinformation, is that it only encourages more misinformation. Trump would love nothing more than Biden spend all day responding misinformation stories.

    100% agree with this. If someone accused me of something like being a pedo)l I would go to the end of the earth to fight it. This isn't a good look.

    One thing I disagree on is Obama fighting allegations he was a Kenyan Muslim. Those weren't worthy of a response imo
