    What sucks the most is he was prob our best trade asset(calm down Daryl) but yea in all likelihood BMac has played is last down as a Texan

    He's a great example of someone having to get tackles.

    It's like that average player that drops a lot of points on bad teams. Someone has to take the shots. Cory Maggette was a great example of this, had some 20+ ppg seasons on decent shooting.

    McKinney is that guy, someone has to get those tackles...on the stat sheet it looks good for a ILB to have a lot of tackles but we know most of those tackles come after the opposing player gets the needed yardage and not before.

    He's just never popped on the field for me and I doubt opposing defenses ever really worried about him.

    I though BMac was pretty good? Pro Bowl a few years ago? I know things get murky with the cap and high contracts, but I thought he was still a positive defender, no?

    BMac looks like he may have lost a step, especially the first four games (maybe due to injury?) and at the end of last year. With him being due around $8 million and combined With the fact that he will only Cost $1.2 to $1.5 to cut, they’ll probably cut him.

    While BOB was fired, we’ll be feeling the effects of his decisions for years to come, especially with the mismanagement of the salary cap.

    Not like B-Mac is one of the best ILB in the league(Idgaf about the pro bowl) but his absence was slightly felt. Tyrell did a good job for a guy who is essentially a rotational player in the position but Cunningham stunk up the joint...again.

    Did the Texans even bother bringing any linebackers in to work out after B-Mac was ruled out for the season? I know Wesley Woodyard, Alec Ogletree, Nigel Bradham are all out there. I would take any of them over Cunningham at the moment.
