    Interesting on two fronts. First, cornyn's willing ness to lie. But second, another rat jumping the ss trumptanic

    Cornyn defended Trump for siphoning Pentagon budget to pay for border wall, but now claims he was against it
    Assertion to Fort Worth Star-Telegram editorial board contradicts multiple statements backing Trump for shifting defense funds to sidestep Congress’s refusal to pay for the controversial project.

    Very nice. Private thoughts and conversation. I was always against Trump's this and that and had those conversations in private. If and when Trump loses (he still got a chance), there is going to be plenty of these private thoughts and conversation to rewrite history.

    Not surprising at all. It also wouldn't surprise me if Trump does somehow win Cornyn will be saying a month from now how he always supported the wall.

    I'm still expecting Ted Cruz to turn against Trump. If Cornyn is giving a rather mild back pedal Cruz a few months from now could be sounding like he was one of the impeachment managers.

    This is the most telling thing that Trump is in trouble that's 3 senators in 2 weeks who have either questioned Trump or have not pledged their loyalty.

    What the Arizona senate candidate did was the canary in the coal mine.
