Probably similar, I have an 805. The biggest problem is putting the wheel back together because you have to squeeze the axis back into the hole at the center of the wheel. And once it comes off one time, it seems to not stay on after that, constantly popping off again. So, now I put superglue on the axis to make it stay. That works for months at a time, and I use the opportunity of it popping off to clean it out again.

Now, I probably have an especially problematic dog. She's a Great Pyrenees, and you can literally make yarn from their fur.

Wow! Those are huge dogs with really thick coats. I thought our female Labradoodle was really big at 75 lb., but yours are supposed to be 80-90 lbs! According to your link, your dog's fur is supposed to make especially soft scarves or sweaters. That's amazing.

I looked for wheels on Amazon, and iRobot apparently doesn't make replacement wheels for our model any longer. Hongfa does, if we ever need some. Guess we've been lucky, since it's held together. We buy Hongfa filters and the spinning thingy, which work perfectly and are cheaper. Anyway, good luck with the wheels. ;-)

A small update on our Roborock s5 max. So far, so good. As some have said, nothing replaces a good old fashioned vacuum but this sucker does a pretty good job. The container was caked in dog hair. It has a hard time with rugs though, but we just put them up and back down later.

Austin paper's tech section claims that the Neato Botvac D7 is the best robovac for pet hair.

Can speak for the Neato series. The D4 connected which I've had for about 2 years now is amazing. I have it cleaning the foyer, living room, and kitchen area. It does a great job of picking up dirt / dust and dog hair. Plus it has lidar, and you can draw lines on the floor map it builds of your house on the app to make "no go" areas.

We have a golden retriever and the Neato D4 does a great job with the hair. Like others mentioned, it has lidar and the no go lines is a great feature. I also have it integrated with Siri Shortcuts so I can just tell my HomePod “hey Siri start cleaning” and it’ll go.

Nice man. Sounds like I need to get a Neato as my next one. Together the Roborock and Neato will rule the house!

Hope China enjoys me talking to the Roborock. They won't find much of great interest in my daily conversations with my wife and dog, lol. Although Neato appears to be an American company I think?

Either way, I'll have two countries spying on me. :D.

One note: it sucks with small power cords lol and rugs. Kind of like if you've ever gotten your phone charger stuck in the vacuum for a bit. Same deal with this sucker. Other than that I give it a solid B rating. Sometimes you just gotta buy something and give it a trial run. I like it overall.

Nice. Looks like ours isn't. We bought it at $439 and it's back up to $549 on Amazon. Roborock S5 max.

My wife likes rugs. My wife prefers not sweeping daily. We don't have rugs now.
