You forgot he is 310 lb and 7-6. Playing 30 minutes is not easy.
However, Yao does need to learn running more efficiently. A lot of the picks he sets serves little purpose the way we play. Before our guards learn how to run around a pick, yao should set few picks.

That would actually make a good commercial, instead of those cartoons. Have a shot of Yao huffing and puffing, then give him a Red Bull and finally show him dunking on Shaq.

Stamina is a problem, but the bigger problem is his hesitation on the court.

The guy has been thinking too much on the court lately. At this level, you have to go with your instinct, instead of thinking at every step. The speed of the game is just too fast to do that.

Why do people keep saying Yao is 22. He was 22 for so long now.

He was born on 1980. That makes Yao 24 this September.

    Yao's DOB: 9/12/80 (from Rockets.com)

As i said in one of my posters, his actually age might be much older. Most of Chinese atheletes retire at or before "30". You can do the math.

You know PXZ, I've noticed that in the last 3 months or so that every week you start some BS post like this. If you have some evidence to back up what you say then please share it.

And btw, the reason most Chinese athletes retire at 30 is because the government adopts a policy of forcing them to retire. Given roughly the same talent level, the younger player is going to the Olympics. This way it leaves room for younger players to play and develop.

Undemocratic? Yes. Helps the country competitively in the long run? Absolutely.

I am sure that the math is way too challenging for you ... have you completed high school?
