Haven’t yet. Going to try to hit it tomorrow. There’s a place a mile from me that is pretty low on wait times. You can check lines here:

Harris county broke their first day record by a ton.

I don't understand why everyone wants to vote the first day with some people waiting for hours? I guess they are just eager to show Trump the door.

I voted in Montgomery County (9am) and there was a decent line, but took about 45 minutes altogether. The clerk that was working there said this was the biggest turnout he's seen in a long time. They normally only have 8 machines but got 20 this time around because they figured turnout would be bigger.

Took about 20 minutes from after they opened up. I got there at around 7:42 am. Open at 8.
I was eager to vote and mainly didn't want to keep worrying about doing it. I wanted to get it done and also worried that the lines would get bigger the closer to election day.

Everyone except a judge was wearing a mask which I was glad about. Felt pretty safe.

Hopefully a sign of people turning out in large numbers to kick Trump out of office, many were too lazy four years ago and believed the polls.

Where do you find more information about each candidate?

Should you vote one color all the way through? Do people actually research each candidate (outside of the presidency)?

Voted today at the South Post Oak and Main location around 6pm and it was a breeze. 15 minutes from getting out of car to getting back into the car.

The line only took five minutes and there were plenty of machines. The bottleneck was that there were only 2 stations checking people in. When I left, there were significantly more people waiting in line, but is probably still less than 15 minutes wait.

For early voting, does it matter which precinct I vote at once I've already submitted my mail in ballot?

If you're not sure, vote at all of them.
