We have had 4 critical at bats in the 8th and 9th inning this series and we are 0-4. If we are 1-4 we are probably tied in the series and if we are 3-4 we are probably up 2-0. Springer, Yuli, Bregman and Altuve, so most of our big names have had a shot.
We’re not getting out played but we’ve either ****ed ourselves in the field or smoked the ball at someone. So optimistically if we start getting some breaks or creating some, we can strike right back. I thought Astros in 6 which now seems unlikely but a lot of baseball left.
Also Josh James saved once again. He should be fresh for close and late tomorrow. Things are looking good.
It’s good to have a completely fresh Josh James. I’d like if he was always fresh, all the time, safe on some couch somewhere far away from the stadium. That way we know we have him fresh and he’s just a (hopefully very long) cab ride away.
