    I'm ashamed to admit this...

I missed most of Game 7 against the knicks because of a frickin' rehearsal in Tomball for some July 4th gig I was hired to play. Everyone in the choir was listening on walkmans and the conductor WOULD NOT get the hint that no one wanted to be there. He wouldn't let us go early. I sped home to Huntsville doing about 95 up I-45. I got home right as Maxwell hit the big 3 that pretty much clinched it.

I missed Game 7 against Phoenix because I was the best man in a wedding. BUT during the reception, all the groomsman and groom snuck out to the parking garage with a case of champaign and listened to the 4th quarter on the radio in the car. :D

I missed game four against the Magic in '95. But I knew what the outcome of the game was when I heard fire crackers going off outside.

That's easy. Game 6 against the Knicks in 1994. I was on a plane back to Houston while the game was being played. The pilot kept updating us on the score after every quarter. I think the Rockets were up by 10 at the half which was comforting, but then they were up only 1 going into the 4th, so needless to say I was in agony for about 45 minutes until he finally informed us that Houston won the game by 2.

I was camping and partying in New Braunfels(sp) doing the river floating(and beer drinking) thing right after the school year ended. I missed the infamous Utah game when they quit running the clock in hopes that endless time might give them the win. hehe...good times:)

    Game 5 against Phoenix.

We were down 3 games to 1... and my family was driving back from Houston to our home town. My vile little sister insisted that we listen to pop on the radio , so I didn't even listen to it.

rockets - knicks - GAME ONE

I was in the mountains of Wyoming doing field work for my degree - I aclled my parents long distance and they put the phone up to the radio

I was able to go into town to see the other games (including the OJ run)

Nick "the Brick" Anderson's famous choke job...

I don't even remember what I had to do, just remember watching the first half, then seeing the aftermath of the Rox win...

The gaem where we play MJ coming back. I know this may not be the most important, but it was one to remember. We ended up beating them, and Hakeem blocked MJ's shot. Also at the end, Hakeem made a three pointer just for fun. :D

Also couple of seasons, when we were always trailing going into the fourth quarter, Hakeem turned it up and Vernon Maxwell always hit that last-second three pointer to win! That was game by game excitement all season!!

Mario's "Kiss of Death" game against Phoenix. Coaching my son's baseball game. Missed it all... and I hate Ainge with a passion.
