Lakers are ruining the NBA with these 3s. Back in the day... things and such with shapes and colors. Lebron is boring and is only looking for fouls. AD is is only looking to score and defend well SMH.

A team can never win a title shooting that many threes.

Everyone on NBA on TNT told me so.

Lakers have 446 PTs in finals.
    FTs:75
    446-75 = 371 PTs from all FGAs,
    3P: 59, that is 177 PTs. 3PAs: 166
    371-177=194 PTs, this is from 2Ps, 2PAs:173

    they took 166 3PAs for 177 PTs and 173 2PAs FOR 194 PTs.

Conclusion, Lakers would be slightly better by taking less 3s.

math is not wrong , however there is a gradient of good threes and bad threes . But if the choice is a bad 2 or bad 3 , you'll prolly take the bad 3 even if it can get ugly.

Heat are packing the paint trying to stop AD and Lebron cutting.
    So they leave the 3.

Just like other teams does agains us... but apparently the Lakers are hitting the 3's.

    so, they're settling for 3s? :D

more fun facts to chew on, fwiw:
    • Lakers at 35.5% are shooting below the league average for 3P% = 35.8%
    • Lakers are about to shatter the NBA Finals record for 3PAs
    • Heat packed the paint against Giannis, too. Probably moreso.
LAL have already shot more 3s in 4 games (166) than Bucks did in 5 games vs Heat (165)
    • LAL are way ahead of Boston vs Heat, too.

Nobody cares until you miss more than make'em.

I'm tired of our clearance bin "3 point shooters" who are dented, undersized "but show great defensive energy!":rolleyes::rolleyes:

"Mostly" 2nD is not a great bargain. Not the new undervalued curve. They are what they are.

I'd say it's the reason they don't get much time during the playoffs, but MDA was special and can't handle more than 7 guys logging 15 minutes or think about getting role players more involved outside of spotting up and finding instant rhythm.

I’m a believer that the downfall of the Rockets vs the Lakers was due to the heights of main rotation players:
    6’3” Westbrook
    6’3” Rivers
    6’3” Eric Gordon
    6’3” McLemore
    6’5” Harden
defensively.......hard to provide position-less basketball defensively while using so many shrimps.
    **heights provided by basketball-reference.com

    Plus, your 3-pt stats
    Game 1 vs Lakers: 39 (3PA’s).......36% (3P%)
    Game 2 vs Lakers: 53 (3PA’s).......42% (3P%)
    Game 3 vs Lakers: 30 (3PA’s).......40% (3P%)
    Game 4 vs Lakers: 33 (3PA’s).......42% (3P%)
    Game 5 vs Lakers: 49 (3PA’s).......27% (3P%)

So Game 2 at 53 attempts from 3 is per par; but 30 and 33 attempts stunk in games 3 & 4......especially while
shooting 40% & 42% respectfully. Step out a little further if you have to and get off more shots. 45+ attempts
at 36% hurts the other team to a greater extent. Keep shooting if 40% (3’P%) or above; good grief! You have to
know you can’t stop the other NBA team when so small.

I strongly feel the Rockets checked out mentally when the league took out D House.

Miami has been playing a zone and is committed to collapsing on the paint.

magnets in the rims, that is the only explanation as to how markieff morris and rondo suddenly turned into 3 point snipers in the playoffs

Live by the 3, die by the 3. ;)

Actually, it's my fault. I said earlier that the Lakers were the worse 3pt shooting team in the bubble. Jinx is real.

It is one important reason among many that Rockets weren't able to make to the finals for so many years.

It’s boring basketball. Ratings are down. The difference is they mix in mid range.

And Lebron is a superior player. Caldwell pope, kuzma, Morris, Caruso are no better than what harden had.

AD—yeah, might be a little better than WB.
