It's like advertising how little you understand and how little you care. Just craziness. It speaks poorly for them and for our nation that we can't do what it takes to actually open our economy back up.

It speaks poorly that people would want to be in that stadium.

    For the Dolphins?

    But it is Florida.

You have individuals that simply don't care and continue to compare the risk of catching COVID to being in a car accident. Those individuals, there is absolutely no hope for them. They will be in the stadium, "wearing" their mask where it doesn't protect them or others.

Then you have individuals that are taking every precaution and will not be attending mass events for the foreseeable future until we get this under control. Those individuals, we don't have to worry about.

Then you have a huge group of individuals, that aren't driven by any sort of ideology and don't know any better than what government allows them to do. Thought process is probably like: "Oh, they are opening up the stadium again, this must mean it's okay to gather together with a lot of people as long as we have our mask on, lets go ahead and go to the game." These individuals, these are the kind that require direction from somebody, otherwise, they will likely make poor choices.

Some people just do not have common sense.

I’ve run out of fcks to give

all we can do is protect ourselves as much as possible...if idiots want to go pack the stadium, there’s no stopping them...it’s unfortunate that they’ll spread the virus to others, but the idiots have won, so all u can do is protect yourself

Point of Order: the Governor says they can fill the stadium, the Dolphins say they're not changing their policy at this time.

This is just DeSantis locking down his status as Grand Chuckle****. The Dolphins don't have to let people in. Now, I guarantee you this will lead to lawsuits and protests, but that's just the state of this country.

    Good on the Dolphins.

Will point out that yesterday 55 people died and there were 2,251 new cases in FL. That is well down from their peak back in Mid August when more than 200 were dying a day but still not good.

Also considering how much DeSantis is all in on reelecting Trump it wouldn't surprise me if the relaxed standards are a calculated gamble to help the reelection.

Sounded like a political stunt. I figured no NFL owner would want to be the first, without league-wide commitment.

A real President wouldn't let this happen.

LOL, can you imagine risking death and visiting it upon countless others to go to...AN NFL GAME?

The NFL in-game experience has got to be one of the worst things in the history of America.

Like, sit in traffic for hours to get to a miserable slab of concrete, pay huge amounts of money, sit with a bunch of yahoos who think that being at a football game gives them licesne to behave in the worst possible way before, during, after, watch guys stand around for most of 3 hours from a poor viewing angle punctuated by brief bits of action, sit through endless product placements, promotions, commercials, replay reviews, then be stuck in the same parking lot for another hour.

I think the last game I went to was a Jets game many years ago and man...IT WAS TERRIBLE and not just because it was the jets.

One of the reasons DeSantis is pushing reopening is because the Super Bowl is in Tampa and he wants to prove they can host a full blown game.
