I understood that Coach Ty Lue was meeting with the Houston Rockets Brass last Sunday in Las Vegas! How is that there isn't any news of the meeting. As a long time Fan of the Rockets I would have expected some news of the meeting.. ( Get busy Morey!) 1) Did the meeting take place? 2) Is there any follow up? 3) Can we expect any info on our future Coaches?
Meeting was postponed until sometime in the week. Don't know when, and if they really want him, I hope he doesn't Doc-Rivers the team.
He will accept Clips or Peli's job before interviewing with Rockets. Just not sure if the reschedule was due to Rockets or Lue's side. Par for course.

They want Atkinson who is a frozen Salisbury TV dinner. Honesty, Doc and Lue are better but if we can't get Lue I would take Silas or Atkinson. Something tells me they will take Atkinson regardless for a McHale like hire.
Ty Lue is good with the players reputation......why pay the hefty price when we have that in-house with John Lucas.

We are waiting for the other teams to finish hiring their coaches. Then we will have more leverage to negotiate salary when we have the only head coach job opening in the league.

What we ran here was not a offense lol. Throughout MDAs tenure we ran absolutely no plays on offense, outside of inbound plays. Plus MDA was not the creator of Moreyball. Any coach we bring beside JVG, will be better than Moreyball
