Who owns the following record for the last four seasons he coached: 24-58;18-64; 29-53; and 8-34? The answer is......
John Lucas....who is now the leading candidate and player (Harden & House) favorite to become our next head coach.
A coach is as good as his players. Look at what he had to work with before judging based on wins/losses.
I just peeped those Philly and Cleveland lineups. God awful Shawn Bradley and Chris Mimh where your top picks. WOW!
Sure, but I'd argue that if you have to go back to 1994 for a coach's last winning season, it's... telling, to say the least. At 66, he's neither a young, up-and-coming assistant nor a proven winning coach.
The point is he knows the system and will somewhat keep it the way Harden is most comfortable with. Maybe add critical situation strategies that D'Antoni left out?
So we presume that he has not improved or learned a single thing in the last 2 decades of being intimately involved in NBA teams on the sidelines without the pressure or being coach. Well, OK!
Im sorry but no. I tired of this. Harden has suggested enough bad trade decisions, I dont want him choosing the coach.
