    Weird use of "literallly" as a discourse marker to replace something like "in fact". that's so awesome. the evolution of "literally" is fascinating.

    To be or to, in fact, not be
    but instead: To be or to literally not be ... that's the new question

    Are kids nowadays used to stretching the truth (or lying) so much that in order to negate something using normal amplifying discourse markers isn't enough, you have to give the negation more force with "literally". Might as well have doubled-down like, "my mom said one thing, but was, in fact, literally lying."

    Different take... with the digital world as a new meta layer in public discourse, our language has been too slow and limited to conceptually describe between different forms of abstract speech, each operating in their own cadence, tonality and severity.

    Something "breaking the internet" might not be a bfd in meatspace or, the previous meta king, drugspace.

    Tying this in w/ topic, KAC might've literally been negative that day, but Claudia's tweet makes the diagnosis sound instant and permanent.

    Did KAC literally lie? Ahh fuggit I need a drink.

    her use of "literally" could also be a profanity minimizer, too, I guess. So, instead of "it ****ing wasn't" she softened it with "it literally wasn't."

    That family needs help. It's a shame how Trump's presidency can ruin a family like that. I hope after this year's election that the family finds peace and can become whole again.

    I'm starting to think this is fake. Kellyanne said she was leaving the white house; she is trying to setup other streams of income for her family. This is too ridiculous. Kellyanne is too calculating and savvy to be caught like this with her daughter.

    But this is chickens coming home to roost, what do you think happens when you are raising someone and your job is to publically lie to the american people.

    Some real **** going on in that house and the daughter might be the one who truly spills the secrets, who knows what she has heard.
