It's kinda weird. Either they respect Harden too much or they don't respect the rest of the Rockets' players.

You'd think, with it being the Finals and a chance to go up 3-0, the gameplan would be to smother Butler and let the Heat's other players beat you. Doesn't matter if you think Butler is on Harden's level or whatever - he's their best offensive player. If Herro and Robinson beat you, then so be it. But don't let Butler breathe next game.

 

If LA wins this series, this is the game that Davis lost FMVP.

 

Did I say the lakers didn't get help, but the NBA definitely wants a more competitive series. I don't think Foster and Brothers were there for no reason.

 

Didn't watch the game. Looks like Jimmy Butler refused to go down without a fight. I still don't think Miami will win another game in this series. I am pretty sure the Lakers will adjust how they defend Butler. Assuming Dragic and Bam aren't coming back, the only other capable scorer they have is Herro. And the kid is still not ready for the big stage.

 

Unfortunately we've watched this movie before. I'll believe an upset is actually plausible if the Heat tie it up.

 

Why? Neither him or LeBron had a good game and they lost. IMO, this game is negligible for FMVP. And Davis has the FMVP all wrapped up. He just needs to average 45, 15, and 5 with excellent defense these next 2 games and the award is all his.

Bruh whatever Lebron took the L, he got out played by Jimmy Butler, simple as that. I know you like Lebron but I could really care less about favorable or unfavorable reffing when it concerns the Lakers. The Heat fought hard and played a great game, we should respect that.

Just double/triple and trap Jimmy Butler to get the ball out of his hands. Make the rest of the team beat you. What's the problem?

 

That'll probably be the game plan for game 4, to be honest. But if Bam comes back, that alleviates a lot of pressure, as Bam can facilitate. A 4v3 with Bam/Herro/Robinson/Olynyk is a wide open 3 waiting to happen.

And unlike the Rockets, the Heat role players can actually hit their shots.
