Strange things are afoot at places other than Circle K

    BTW, y'all may get a kick/creep outta this.....

    A friend of mine who lives in West U. went to Austin this weekend. Came back on Sunday and saw a roommate had used every mirror to plaster masking tape on.... Very very odd.

    They were all very uniform in masking tape length. Essentially, there were, depending on the mirror, four to seven vertical stripes, followed underneath by a horizontal stripe. On every "collage" he did, however, he put diagonal stripes, pointed upwards in a triangular style on the mirror.

    We've known this guy was weird. Hell, I've called him "Tardy" for the past three years. But to leave your own home, and come back to your house being "tagged" this way seems unsettling.

    Anyone know what these "symbols" might mean?

    Seriously, this was scary. Imagine coming home to your house and seeing signs everywhere. IN YOUR 30'S!!! Jeez, I'm the youngun in the group.

    The guy has been subletting rooms in his townhome since the crash of '00. I told him to get rid of this guy 3-4 years ago.

    Maybe he's a part of that new masking tape cult.

    I'd at least find out why he did it just for entertainment purposes, then kick him to the curb.

    sorry. your friend is doomed to die in 24 hours unless he removes the tape from the mirror in one whole piece without breaking or tearing the tape.

    j/k that is messed up though. I'd ask that guy WTF if I were your friend. My last roommate was cutting designs into her forearms this time last year. When I found out what she was doing, I told her (in the nicest way possible) that I didn't know what she thought she was doing, but she needed to get her stuff straight because I couldn't live with her doing that to herself.

    that situation got solved shortly thereafter: she moved out.

    Maybe he was painting the room like Mr. Bean did. With a gallon of paint, some fireworks, and everything in the room covered.
