whats very disappointing is not a mask in sight on repug side when we have only been talking about this since march... repugs brag about gear and yet they are going into battle maskless and now dropping like flies. already had herman cain die and if not careful here might take out a line of succession all the way down to some intern. its more a question of who doesnt have it. we have zero repug leadership and there is no choice but to laugh or cry. my sister in law lives in indiana and is a big pence trump supporter. she came to visit and i bit my tongue whole time. she kept refusing a mask. then finally wore one at store only due to "law" pushed by my wife. my daughters mask kept sliding off and she told my daughter to take it off and "didnt need it" thankfully my wife was there but here you have a grown woman trying to convince a 13 year old girl to be unsafe. this woman absolutely listens to trump and pence to point she is trying to make it some political issue. you dont get it man. nor do repugs and im sorry but I do laugh at you if you cant get it together by october. the buck has passed now weve had all summer you need to grab your big boy pants and look around. there may not be a repug party to laugh at. my favorite of my sister in law is she took a side job at a gas station to make ends meet yet all about getting 1% more money. every time a cut of some kind happens or she gets screwed "by pelosi" I laugh at the repug policy that fu*cked her. its awesome. should I be laughing? so now we have white house still not enforcing masks and STILL it seems like it will be an issue on masks. wtf dude cmon man talk to your people... and all this happens and you are worried about a joke that writes itself? again its a strange place weve gotten to where I cant say anything yet you can karen it up all over the place ..maskless.. be about as obnoxious of a f*uck as possible about it and now these guys are covered in covid. and we are supposed to be cool? these are the same rednecks getting all the staff sick at restaurants and not a mask in sight. i get my take out in hazmat suit and it is funny how the repugs are all out about town singing jim morrison nothing on my mind. it is ****ing comedy dude. i get calls all the time from repug buddies confused at the idea that im not out and about. every single motherfu*cking one of them has had multiple exposure instances and more tests than a gay p*rn star. at risk life and living the on the edge. No one here really sees anything comedic about any aspect of Covid-19 and the utter catastrophe it has caused in our country and around the world, but the fact remains that trump spent many months publicly belittling and dismissing the science of how to protect ourselves against the spread of this virus, belittling those attempting to follow the science by being as safe as possible, all the while tens of thousands, now hundreds of thousands of our fellow Americans have died because of it, and far more are still struggling to recover from it. Many may never fully recover from Covid-19. All the while trump knew exactly how dangerous Covid-19 was, how it spread, and how to reduce the impact of the virus. He made that plain going back as far as late January and kept it from the public. This is recorded in his own words in interviews with Bob Woodward. In 19 of them, and they are not "fake" and it is not a "hoax." trump kept it from the public, while lying the whole time about how serious the virus was. Here it is October and we all know local and national businesses, some in existence for decades, that have gone bankrupt. We are going into this election with the highest unemployment a presidential election has had since 1948. trump is deeply responsible for the disaster we are experiencing. So is Mitch McConnell, the Republican majority in the Senate, and the minority in the House, who have acted as an echo chamber for every lie coming out of trump's mouth. So is this a comedy? Of course not. Does trump deserve to be vilified for his inaction and his actions in response to Covid-19? God damn right he does. So do the Republicans in Congress, who still block the aid to millions so desperately needed, and who are trying to do away with the health insurance of 20 million Americans in the middle of a pandemic, the worst in over one hundred years. They deserve every bit of condemnation they receive. In my humble opinion.

I guess it's like the ones who forgive the drunk driver who killed their child, or the ones who forgive the man who slaughtered their daughter in cold blood. His lies and negligence have killed thousands more people, and some who lost their family members will forgive him. The majority will never forget though, and vote him out for the safety of our country and our democracy.
I don't have any sympathy for Trump - not sure if that says more about me or him. The man is the definition of privileged. He is old and born with a literal silver spoon in his mouth, has used it to only enrich himself. He's the definition of gluttony and excess, cruelty, hurtful to women, he has ruined people's lives through his businesses, and has made conscious decisions that resulted in many deaths. He is 74 years old and has had a full life. With everything he has had in money and power, he has squandered it to do nothing but try to bail out his failing businesses. So no, no sympathy for him. I wish him no ill or harm, but I care not what happens to him other than for him to get out so this country can try to heal a bit.
It is a tragedy of his own making, he chose to politicize a virus, he KNEW he should wear a mask and everyone should, he knew the virus was bad, listen to the Woodward tapes in Trump's own voice - this is funny in that, he has no one to blame but himself for being an idiot.
