Melania on Tape: Who gives a **** about Christmas and a children?

I was really looking forward to seeing how the republicans were going to spin Melania not caring about Xmas and small children, then Trump had to go and get COVID. this is pain.

 

I say leave the poor woman alone. She's not responsible for her husband, she's not an elected official, and any political opinions she expresses in private is not news.

And she's right about the Christmas decorations.

 

Why are we talking about this? Seperation of Church and state says this shouldn't be an issue.

 

Republicans wouldn't have to spin anything regarding the children. Who among them cares about child separation for "illegals"?

The Christmas decorations thing, on the other hand. Now that's a tough one.

 

I heard some of the tapes and it’s painful how out of touch and petty she sounds at times.

 

She's speaking in private to someone she had considered a friend. Venting.

A lot of people will complain about things without their usual filters under that circumstance. I really see no point in paying attention to it or judging her over it. This is an unnecessary distraction away from how horrible her husband has been as president.

 

I think your closest confidants recording you secretly tells me enough about how much people who around Trump and Melania hate them.

This adminstration leaks like no other and I'm assuming it has to do with a lot of power hungry grifters around Trump who still hate him as a human being but still want to bask in the power of the White House.

 

Good point but still disappointing to hear some of the worst things thought about her confirmed. For example that she wore that coat to go visit children at the border just to troll the liberal media.

 

Really well said. I'm glad my worst rants with friends don't become public. They wouldn't paint an accurate picture of my actual views. (But mine are honestly funnier, IMHO.)

 

Yes stuff like this shows how child like these people are and how far removed they are from the maturity requirements of being a President and First Lady.
