If Brooks allows one baserunner then he'll have to face Nelson Cruz which scares the bejesus out of me.
Is it just me but does this playoff not feel as intense as baseball playoffs should feel, in which I think is the most intense by far. Maybe its the factor of no fan noise/buzz but yesterdays game was a bore fest until late, this game is a little more intense but just not the same. Might get more heart wrenching with an advancement. Then again, when Dusty goes to the bullpen its always a heart attack waiting to happen.
100 percent it's just no fans. This isn't like basketball where it's constant moving and action, so it seemed more "exciting" even with out the fans. Baseball is built on suspense, the fans screaming even before a pitch is thrown. This has to be incredibly strange for these guys.
Deja vu. We've had runners at 1st and 2nd 1 out instead of runner at 1st with 2 outs through divine ump intervention before in this game it seems?
