    No Garcia :( Shouldn't be a big deal, but I expected him on roster as a fail safe in case LMJ couldn't go in Game 3.

    It's weird I don't have that nervous energy that I normally do during playoff time, usually I'm a basketcase on gamedays, but today I'm just kind of meh.

    I don't know if it's because the expanded playoffs and the shortened season, just making the playoffs after a 162 game marathon is a huge deal and the whole thing is cheapened a bit. Maybe it's because this time I dont have any real title expectations. Part of it, admittedly, is that the media and them relentless going raw dog on my favorite team for 9 months straight has worn me the hell out. The hypocritical injustice of them all in unison going after one team, my team, has just taken the love of the game out of my heart. I shouldn't let them do that but what can you do when it's in your damn face non-stop?

    Without Garcia, he's the only multi-inning pitcher Dusty can sacrifice to the gods if things go bad in Game 1 or 2.

    I haven't seen a baseball game on ABC since like 95. It may have been CBS, maybe one of you old heads remember better.

    I get it, but still. The fact that he could pitch more playoff innings than JV just sucks. Outside of the injuries to JV and Osuna, the biggest dissapointments on the staff are Abreau, Biagini, Devo, and James. The first three basically gave you nothing (or worse than nothing), and James, Peacock, and Smith (through absence, injury, and/or ineffectiveness) have been big losses as well. Just a complete 180 from the '19 team.
