It's been a few weeks since Danuel House let his hometown down. James Harden, in an interview, said it was "disappointing." He obviously let the whole team down during the middle of the playoffs. Would we have beaten the Lakers and advanced? I personally don't believe so, but I also don't think we would have lost four ****ing games in a row. On the other hand, we are unfortunately one of the oldest teams in the league and do not have much draft picks to obtain cheap talent or to use in trade. House's age and contract is one of the more attractive asset that we have, but has become one of the more talented wings that we have given Harden to play with since Ariza. If you were Morey / Harden, would you prefer to trade or keep Danuel House?
I mean, u obviously don’t just give him away, but the only untouchables on this roster are Harden and unfortunately Russ to a lesser extent because of his relationship with Harden and Tilman being the one who really pushed for his arrival what House did was so stupid and selfish tho, it really can’t be understated team was already paper thin and facing a team that is better than them, then u go and pull that BS causing us to lose a valuable rotation piece and bringing about an unwanted and unnecessary distraction
Get him out of here. If it's true that is. I hope it's a misunderstanding and not what was reported but that's not fair to anyone involved with that team if he really did it.
the rockets are a basketball team. the cba limits what you can spend for players. house is good at basketball and doesn't cost much. if locker room wants him, answer is easy.
I am curious however if the rest of the team would still want him. We saw how fast we shipped out CP3 after one bad season.
Nah he brings a unique skill set to Our team. Unfortunately we don’t have to many player that can thrive in transition like House. He’s the only rocket I seen go coast to coast beside Russ. He’s one of Our bigger Players. If we trade him him and get smaller, I’m losing whatever remaining hair I have. He’s one our our better perimeter defenders He’s Probably our beat three point shooters and we can’t afford to lose one of our better perimeter shooters on a team that loves to shoot threes but don’t have many elite shooters, House is definitely top 2 on the team in shooting from the perimeter
Trade while there is still any value. Unreliable, injury risk and falls awkwardly and replaceable level player. Most importantly, conduct detrimental to the team. 2nd strike in my opinion, the first being contract hold out. Want culture change? Clean House.
You’re not getting anything for him right now. You might as well keep him around his skill set is not easily replaceable (he’s really the only shooter on the team that can create his own shot, And the rockets don’t have a lot of flexibility. he ****ed up, people make mistakes
Definitely keep him. Doing otherwise is just selling low. A few months from now, this incident will have died down and people won't be nearly as upset about it. Remember lemon pepper chicken wing Lou and how outraged everyone was at first? Sure, the situations weren't exactly the same, but now it's almost a joke and people kinda forget about it. We weren't gonna win the series vs the Lakers with or without him so it's not like his actions cost us anything anyway, even if he is a bit of a jack***.
If we get fair trade value then sure but I see a lot of people want him gone just cause they’re mad at him. As if we were beating the Lakers even if he played. Get over it.
Depends on the return like let’s say for Bamba? Then bye bye Danuel. And it isn’t even just about his actions in Orlando. It just seems like come playoff time dude loses complete focus.
You gotta keep him. We used him as a scapegoat for losing another playoff series in disappointment. I'm assuming to save Morey's job
