Should A-Train Stay?

  1. Of course! This bet is silly.

  2. No. I'm a literalist and mean-spirited.

    Here's what I'm thinking:

    1) Most posters on the bbs don't want to see A-Train leave (including me)
    2) A-Train doesn't want to leave
    3) A-Train feels that he has to leave, otherwise he'd be considered a welch.

How do we solve this problem? I propose a simple vote. If the majority of the vote says that A-Train should stay, that negates the bet with SamFisher, kind of like a super-majority of Congress overturning a Presidential veto. (I know super-majority isn't a term, but work with me here).

Deal? If the majority says yes, then I say he should stay.

    In other words: Save A-Train!

Are you sure that you worded the poll right. does pressing yes mean you want him to stay or leave? it just doesnt go with the name of the thread...

i would rather him keep posting and all but i guess the only person who can say so is SamFisher who 'won' the bet? if he wishes to forfeit that then he can...

A-Train... please don't leave. There would be an empty space on the bbs that no one else could fill. (I haven't followed this whole scenario, but this doesn't sound good... maybe just see if you could both accept that it was a silly bet... at least keep posting in the hangout...)

If they insist on going thru with the bet....modify it so that he has to stay out of GARM for a set length of time.

There should never be a scenario where someone is forced into banishment from the board unless of course they break rules.
But, staying out of a certain forum might be a alternative solution.

It's between the two parties...and what the general population thinks should have no bearing on it.
