What this really means - Morey will pick the next head coach, and then I will cheap out on the assistants around him.

I'd like to see JVG with Gentry or something like that, but I know this douchebag won't shell out the cash.

To be fair, Morey was re-upped for 5 years by Tilman in March of 2019. Les was nowhere around by that point.

If it is like that, then the management is not sending Tilman advanced stats that make him push the botton...

To me Morey is the ultimate responsable of the move.

Tilman is responsable of not using the taxpayer MLE this offseason, if we dont. There is no repeater tax excuse this time. Probably is the responsable on the money we put in our assistant coach (to me, almost as important as the HC signing). We'll see.

Small ball won't make it with the Lakers and Clippers around. They've got better tools for small ball. Get bigger and more defensive... D'Antoni never won any championship.

Only fact is that Tillman always lies. He's got that Trump media kiss ass bluster where he always wants to look like the big shot in control.

In this case, rockets just melted down... Nothing to steal credit for when you're the big shot in control.

I hope it’s true we’ll see. He also said he’d pay the tax.

The GM and coach did not want the Westbrook trade. The owner forced its completion. The owner has even said so.

There are things to blame the GM for, but Westbrook isn’t one.

Morey is mortal just like everyone else, if not for the money, he will already be waving goodbye to this forked up franchise.

Small ball doesn’t have to have small players!!!

need tucker back at the 3 !
Get a good 4 and decent 5 who can at least shoot midrange and we good.

Problem is, those aren’t available as easy as guards. So. Idk. Fck life

Someone tell them even if they ran it back with small ball, you'd need at least a 6'9 C.

    When has he said so?
He just said that the management kept sending him advanced stats to propose him the move and ultimately said lets do it.

If an owner forces you to make such an important move in which you absolutely don't believe in, and you are an experienced GM with status around the league, you resign. If you don't, you're part of the decision and therefore responsible.

If he comes off as arrogant, how do you think his children are going to be? Patita might have a word with daddy and persuade a listening father if the hire isnt to his liking.
