I love Dantoni but im ready to move on as well. However, Tilman is at the bottom of everything wrong and my dislike for him has grown daily.

And MDA catching feelings about Tillman bringing up his age...calm down...it came out wrong but that’s just business man talk.

It sucks but it’s business at some point your too old and the company wants to bring in someone younger and cheaper who can do just about the same amount of production if not more.

It is what it is nothing personal just BUSINESS.

Mike was a good coach for this team with a successful stint. Tilman is a dick and we all know it. The writing is on the wall where this franchise is headed under his leadership. You simply cannot treat NBA talent like this and ultimately he is developing a reputation among players, coaches and agents that will make it hard to sell them on this franchise. Of course, there will always be coaches and players willing to come to Houston, after all, people want to make money, but are we going to bring the best here? I highly doubt it.

Seriously speaking, Harden would be extremely wise to request a trade considering what he has seen under Tilman. Winning a championship, yet being unwilling to pay the luxury tax usually has not been a formula that works in this last decade.

There was nothing wrong if he just said we should have closed them out instead of stepping on somebody's throat....even if that's meant a metaphor.

George Floyd died that way and it caused what is now going around the country.

I don't approve of this kind of language, all hell may freeze over.

Really enjoyed watching MDA run his system for the most part, but it was ineffective when it mattered the most and this series against the LAL was the final nail in the coffin. His inability to make adjustments and coach the team when they needed the most are just a few reasons why I'm not upset about him resigning. I don't know what happens behind the scenes, but he never held his top players accountable for playing like dog **** and not giving a ****. I'm all for a new coach.

I think Silas is the guy.

I don't think Morey is going anywhere for now.

Turns out Stephen A Smith actually does talk to Tilman.

SAS reported this like a year ago, right after we lost to the Warriors SAS basically paraphrased this, saying that heads will roll because of how we lost and not that we lost, but that losing to a KD-less Warriors pissed Tilman off.

Tilman DOES seem like a fan, that's good that he's passionate...but it sounds like he's a bigger fan of his ego and his money and the Rockets will never come before those two things.

If being a fan makes you obnoxious, maybe he should stick to his casinos and restaurants.

If he was a hardass and knew bball, that's another story but he knows nothing.

Exactly. Kobe had the same sentiments about MDA, but he also said the Rockets will never win playing this style, so i need to see Morey gone to further the change necessary.

If Morey feels like his hands are tied or that he can’t work under this condition or environment the he should resign.

And if Tillman fires Morey I’m all for it as well.

he got cheap literally the offseason after we won 65 and almost beat the warriors. there will never be a better time to spend money. do we have to be defending champions before he will spend a little?

No one who knew of Tillman is surprised by any of this. I feel like Les sold to Tillman because he stood to make money off of basically selling the team to him on credit. Im sure there were other groups much more financially viable. Thats why he's always so tight on money.

The guy has always teetered on the edge of financial ruin from an early age. He got himself into trouble early on and instead of learning from it, he just became a more arrogant and brash version of his younger self.

Hopefully he goes bankrupt and is forced to sell the team.

    Respect Sir

Just would like your thoughts about the context tho...

Tillman was referring to that metaphor about winning something totally different then let’s say what Bob McNair referenced about inmates running the asylum.

So what are your thoughts about that? Because to me one metaphor is referring to winning.

And the other metaphor is referring to racism.

But I agree with your first post about everything Sir and I respect that.
