what the f*ck has Sam Cassell accomplished as a coach for you guys to clamor for him like this?

You guys kill me with this Sam Cassell, Mario Elie idol worship. Being heroes as players in Houston does not translate into good coaching.

If we were a rebuilding team, I'd get it - but we're in win now mode. We need somebody to walk right in to clean up this mess.

Sam Cassell hasn't demonstrated that yet

Kerr didn't walk into a "win now" team...they were just building. Curry and Thompson were in their early 20's. Draymond was just drafted. Completely apples to oranges comparison.

Nash hasn't accomplished **** - and that's why people are laughing at that hire as well. Also, bear in mind that Brooklyn has been a loser franchise for a long time.

I want Granville Waiters as coach. He was a Rocket, too.

He knows Houston and he knows our culture. More than Morey and any other guy we could think of hiring besides Rudy T. If this man is available he deserves a chance. Just get him Alvin Gentry as an assistant!

Matt Bullard would make a Great Coach. But the main problem is that Russell and James ignore their Coaches it seems like.

A Black Coach, A Former Point Guard who Won a Championship with a Alpha Mentality, Father Like is needed with James.
Sam Cassell I feel can defend James against Referees calling bad fouls. Even Flagrant Fouls in the Playoffs were uncalled and Mike Dantoni just ignored it and never cared. That is a bad behavior by Mike because Players will hate you and ignore you in timeouts. That is the ending of Mike Dantoni.

Sam Cassell and Chauncey Billups are really the only Options. 2 Championship Point Guards.

I see that you cannot separate your fanboy idolization from reality.

You hate to see it. But keep cheering for Mario Ellie and Sam Cassell.
