Article is completely speculative, no sources or quotes of any kind. Truly shoddy journalism.

Not even close to the tenets of journalism that Bob Woodward espouses.

    Sports journalism at its laziest.

None of those teams with those players have done anything yet.

Lebron and Lakers are hoisting the O'Brien trophy.

Giannis is going to GSW. Their system is proven to win championships. Plural.

And reason we have no valuable young players or picks is why?

Its because Tilman is a cheap ass MFer.

    Bye Mike,

You're a magnificent regular season coach with your alternate thinking about offence. But you may well end up as the winningest coach never to win it all.

I'll remember D'Antoni for dominating and owning Jazz, Thunder and T-Wolves in playoffs.

I'll remember that MDA was not able to beat KD lead Hampton's 5, uh Golden State Warriors, or Lebron and AD led Lakers.

Both teams were not just better starting 5's but much deeper as well.

Both teams are/will be NBA champions too.

MDA developed Capela, not McHale or JBB.

    You are misremembering history.

This, if true, has me very concerned for the future of the Rockets.

Westbrook and Tilman really killed any enthusiasm I had left.

i doubt he goes to golden state because he doesnt want that KD treatment. he doesnt seem to want it the easy way.

boston is extremely talented. 4 legit all star players, plus smart who has all star impact. they have been to 3 or 4 conference finals and are definitely ready to take the next step.

brooklyn doesnt have players who have "done something" ? kyrie and KD have rings. they are also very talented and will easily be a top 4 team once they get chemistry.

miami has a lot of young guys who are only going to get better and I think they are making themselves very attractive to free agents with the way they are playing, plus the miami lifestyle.

MDA did not fail Rockets, Tilman and his cheap ass did.

Aside from Harden, no other Rocket stepped up vs. Lakers.

Just not enough talent outside of Harden and Covington.

EGo scored 5 points in Game 5.

    We will see.

He has already ghosted all his teammates, FO and coaches on social media.

It’s time for him to go. Loved what he did to resurrect the Rockets but his lack of adjustments in the playoffs sealed his fate.

Next season, MDA goes on a veggie diet. He lands in Indy, Philly, wherever, I can see he pulls a CP3 and get a win on us.

Until we meet with Ty Lue, I don't even believe it. All of these guys are out here speculating just trying to get retweets, likes and clicks.

    We'll see.
But, Pacers don't have anyone named Melo or Kobe on their team.
Short memories. Anyone remember what happened in NY when Melo went down with an
injury for a couple of weeks?
LINSANITY!!! Players (not named Melo) bought into his system and ran it to perfection.

JLin put up 38 points and beat the Kobe Lakers. They went on like a 10 game winning streak.
As soon as Melo returned, it was all about Melo and his slow down post game and touches.
Linsanity died, Knicks went back to mediocrity and MDA got run out of NYC.
You can put that on Melo (which is why Melo didn't get much PT here in Houston with Dantoni)

Same situation happened in LA with Kobe. Kobe was used to Phil Jackson and the triangle.
He wanted his touches too, and wouldn't run MDA's system.

We'll see how things work wherever he lands.
But, it's always exciting basketball with his system. WB was a fly in the soup here. Just didn't belong.
I wish MDA the best. Players seemed to like playing for him and the freeform style

I thought he was what we needed that their would be ball movement galore and open shots for everyone. Funny, that the team never moved away from teen wolf ball yet nearly won the ultimate prize if CP3 doesn't get hurt.

D'antoni was borderline great here considering this wasn't his typical brand of basketball.
