Not that I think this happens but y’all way overrating EG. He was horrible basically all year. Horfird wasn’t great either but he’s a legit big who shot 35% on threes (compared to EGs 31%)
At this point I’ll take a scrub and a draft pick for Gordon. Best case scenario would be to get a young up and comer with an expiring contract from a team with little cap space. Whatever deal is done, the Rockets need to get a draft pick back in return.
This is a realistic trade for Gordon and would improve the Rockets. Horford is a bad fit playing next to Embiid in Philadelphia, but he can be the stretch five the Rockets desperately need. Don’t forget, he was also a solid contributor for the Celtics last season. The big issue would be Tilman’s willingness to take on Horford’s salary. Getting Aaron Gordon with Issac out for next season after tearing his ACL in the bubble or Myles Turner for Gordon are pipe dreams.
I actually dont mind this trade. I dont think we can get that much for EG and Hortford could be the 5 we are looking for he is long, mobile and can shoot to stretch the floor
it should be westbrick for Horford but Philly isn't dumb enough to put simmons and westbrick next to each other. Rockets would instantly be better with this lineup. The pieces actually fit unlike with someone else harden EG RoCo PJ Horford
That's not a rumor, it's a suggestion by a nobody writer and regurgitated by another nobody writer as if it were actually intetesting.
Only if the Sixers get fleeced into throwing in Thybulle and Korkmaz. But Simmons is already a much better version of Westbrook.
Not for James Johnson. He is washed up. Eric has more value than that. His 3 point shooting finally came around in the playoffs to some extent.
I thought Tito Horford was never a thing, outside of HS in Houston (recruit, Marion Christion, recruit) and a bit at the U. Don't you have to be a thing first to be "washed"?
