Who’s going to Landry’s for Brunch?

Gundy will ask for that John Gruden bread.

    Love Mike, also love JVG.

Hasn’t JVG been saying over and over that he doesn’t understand MDA not getting an extension and that he’s perfect for Houston?

No! This is dumb! Really dumb! Make him President of basketball operations with Morey as GM but he does not need to be coach!

JVG would be a great coach. You can tell he likes Houston too when hes covering the games.

hated the slow iso heavy halfcourt games during jvg era. i like him as a commentator than a coach. he was miserable as a coach.

I would love to see JVG back with the Rockets. Great guy, great coach, and (now) longtime Houstonian.

I’m fine with JVG as coach. Though I would also consider guys like Atkinson, Pop, or Joerger even.

Only if he has an offensive coordinator to come along with him. I love JVG, but his offenses were brutal.

    Here’s the thing...

He won’t take this **** from this team. He will demand accountability and defensive effort. He would’ve been red in the face and yelling after they got down 22 in the 1st. Maybe Harden and WB need someone like that.

I love JVG, he is loyal to Houston and more focus on defense can’t be a bad thing. At least he will get after his stars.

JVG would be an excellent coach for this team. The one thing JVG was great at was on-court discipline. The one thing MDA was awful at was on-court discipline.

We need a new coach that has the stature to change how Harden plays on the court and reinvision our offense. We don't have a ton of expendible pieces, and I have no clue how Morey is going to mix and match this offseason to get more competitive going forward. Guys like Markieff and Marcus Morris went to LA while taking huge paycuts. No one does that for us it seems.

What about Mike Brown? He has been Steve Kerr’s top assistant since 2016.
