they don’t impress me...we just have too many flaws to overcome them their defense has been excellent, I’ll give them that at least
House is almost irrelevant, but because he is a starter, it does move a lesser scrub into the rotation and it throws everyone off. But we need that. This team had to be shaken at it's core. We literally need to wake up from a coma.
Happens more often than you think In the NBA. A lot of times the players are younger than 27, but a few veterans keep tabs to try and keep them on the straight and narrow.
I think it’s nonsense when we’re talking about this roster Like, do we really want Russ or EG to have the ball more? Russ’s passing is absolute buns, and since he’s come back from injury, he dribbles like he has multiple broken fingers. Russ creating and kicking out to a spotted up Harden moving off ball sounds good in theory, but Russ has bad court vision. It’s far more likely he forces drives to the rim, increases his turnovers, or increases his bad three point and midrange attempts. EG does not pass, and his creation ability is certainly not all that good. Rivers also sucks big time now. Those are all the guys other than Harden on the roster that can do anything with the ball in their hands. There is a reason why Harden is always in the positive when it comes to plus/minus and net rating, and the team falls off a cliff when he’s off the floor. Dudes can’t produce or generate offense. Things are much better with the ball in Harden’s hands, period, end of story. I think he should attack quicker...he seems to accept the inevitable double team a little too much and is putting too much trust and pressure on the others to produce...it’s the situation he finds himself in, but I’d honestly just rather see him force the issue, even if it’s on 2 guys, than continue to pass to role players all game and finish with 10-15 shot attempts and 10 assists...we will never win with Harden getting such low shot attempts...we need 35+ points, and that’s by any means

I don't know if losing House really makes a difference against the Lakers. If it does, it just tells you how shallow our roster is.
I try not to get mad at players when they suck on the court because I feel they are generally trying their best. This is inexcusable. If your team is built so the loss of House tanks your chances, that’s probably not good, but I believe every marginal advantage/disadvantage matters at this level of the playoffs. **** man. What a disappointment.
