Has nothing to with the deal, it is about his attitude and way he handled the situation. Hopkins is a me *******.

down by 17 mid way through the 3rd quarter. Texans had a couple of 1st downs are at mid field.
1st down, hand off up middle - 2 yds
2nd down, hand off up middle - 1 yd
    3rd and long - sack.
They still had a long road to haul, but that drive was pretty much the final nail. Deja vu of last year play calling.

Wow. Its worse than I originally thought actually. Man where to begin.

The defense sucks. It will be a bottom 5 defense this season. DJ Reader is laughing his ass off in Cincinnati. Texans DL let a ROOKIE RB run all over their ass. Watt looks old. Jacob Martin had his one play per game quota, and then is a complete non factor in the run game and basically anything after the sack. If Anthony Weavers bright idea was to put Justin Reid as a cornerback then Im immediately going to question his competency for the job. That was the most idiotic thing i've seen in a while. lucky that dude dropped the TD pass. They had 9 months to prepare and still couldn't cover Kelce. Bernardrick McKinney needs to be cut that was the worst tackling performance I've ever seen for a guy making that much money.

Tytus Howard looks like a fat slob out there. I know he's coming back from injury, but that dude was straight up ASS last night. Having Fulton next to him only exacerbated the situation. As a whole the offensive line was pathetic last night. They moved the line some in the run game, but not enough to move the needle. They were punked by the KC defensive line.

What the hell happened to all the "speed and separation" these new assortment of wide receivers would bring? Its bad. Fuller dropping passes and not even going downfield? 5'2 Cooks cant high point the ball against a rookie. Where was Randall Cobb? 9Ms per year for THAT? WE GOT RID OF NUK FOR THIS??? What a travesty.

But of course this was all Deshaun Watsons fault again right? Look how warped he looked after being told to play in the system. Did Bill OBrien start calling plays in the 2nd half already?? I guess this is what you get when you allow a defensive lineman/buddy - nepotism to infiltrate the ranks - you get a whole bunch of incompetence. Almost unforgivable to play that conservative after beating your chest all off season about how good these deals were gonna be, and how much more the offense was going to be able to do. Only bright spot was David Johnson for me - I was genuinely impressed, and hope that he learns how to keep his head looking back at #4 because a play is never over with Watson back there and he could have had at least one huge gain if he would have been ready for the ball in the outlet role.

Thankfully the schedule only gets easier!! ---------------------> /s

edit: did Russ Blacklock even play???

That game was so exciting that I didn't even fall asleep until the beginning of the 3rd quarter!

    Go Texans!

This team is staring at a 1-6 start. I’m honestly shocked at how bad this team is. After last night I am done watching until O’Brien is gone. It’s just not worth investing a few hours to watch your team get destroyed every Sunday.

I don’t mind that they lost, I expected that against an obviously superior team, on the road, with a freshly hoisted Super Bowl trophy. No. What I minded was seeing the exact same thing, the same identical mistakes as always, with essentially no obvious improvements from the year before. That’s just getting old.

My goodness, talk about vanilla playcalling on offense. Nothing dynamic whatsoever with the most dynamic player in the league under center. Defense got methodically shredded, long, easy, scoring drives. I don't want to overreact, I mean we did play the defending champs, but I did not like what I saw out there. Uninspired, all around.

This right here, DAFUQ was that. You are up against arguably the best offense in football already down 17 and your plan is to just keep running the ball and eat up clock? That was classic BoB style play calling it was like the OC kelly had the entire game scripted out and refused to go offscript. Honestly the game was over at that point, with no preseason at least get some game reps in with your receivers and start taking some shots. I wasnt expecting a win but I was expecting a much better showing. David Johnson looked good but the offense overall did not look dynamic

The Texans as an organization is known traditionally as a team that gets trashed and sh!tted on when it matters most. Last night it didn't matter most but it mattered a lot knowing this team just trashed them not too long ago in the playoffs then went on to win a super bowl. To me you'd think the organization would be mad about that if winning super bowls really mattered. I don't see it mattering with this organization so why should they matter period? If you just want to see football played in this city strickly for entertainment value that's understood and good luck to the organization strickly making money off that because that's all they've ever been and it looks like thats all they will ever care about being. F what any of these athletes or coaches say.

This is all a part of the plan. Disappointing offseason, slow start to the season, lowered expectations, win the division, and we're celebrating again.

Garbage performance outside out the first quarter, like always.

    Defense awful

    Offense ineffective
