It's how quickly we went from a very well-balanced 60 win team to this that makes it hurt that much more.
Spoiler I hate this roster I hate the two fraud "superstars"/"MVPs" I hate the cheap owner I hate the overrated "can do no wrong" GM I hate the coach I hate whatever this franchise is or has become. They've moved into Texans territory. The hell with both of them. They're both jokes. Total jokes. I'm out. Oh, they gave Bill O'Brien total control?! HAHAHA! Oh, they gave four firsts for Russell Westbrook?! HAHAHA! Oh, how cute! They want to spam threes, get into a 3pt shooting contest and play with their small balls! Oh, they think they're the smartest in the room! HAHAHA! Gonna become a general NBA fan. Catch me in The Dish. Go HEAT!? Go Raptors?! Go Warriors!? Go NBA! (But **** the Lakers & Clippers) Jimmy Butler smartly avoided this **** show franchise, now on the verge of the NBA Finals. "but but but it's the East!"
In my opinion the problem is Harden along with small ball. He is not a prime time player, always struggles in playoffs specially in key games.
Take this efficiency bullshit and get some athletic hoopers.... Fill out your roster with mfers you're gonna actually use in the postseason.
I love Houston Rockets but man, this is hard to watch. What a disgusting performance and such a poorly made team.
This team needs a completely new system, a new direction that is less reliant on analytics and nerds. Adding a piece here or making a little trade there isn't going to fix the root problem with the Rockets. Blow it up, starting with getting rid of Morey and D'Antoni.
Yeah last year's disaster was the end of diehard blind fandom, but this year has been extra frustrating, particularly after the silly sound bytes by Fertitta and Harden. I'm extremely disappointed with how things have gone since Morey is supposed to be the "best GM", but apparently he's more of a degenerate gambler. Granted how much of this was Fertitta's actions will remain a mystery. I think the point is, this current era was supposed to compete for a championship and instead they'll be remembered as fool's gold or a flash in the pan. They will not be a serious contender in 2021, and I'm not sure there's any moves that can make any difference. Also when D'Antoni leaves, what coach would possibly want to come into this flawed situation? It's impossible. The sad thing is, and this is how I felt last year, even if they were to win the whole thing at this point, I hate to say it, but it would feel like more of a relief than an accomplishment if that makes any sense.
From nearly beating the most talented squad ever assembled at full strength and being up double digits in game 7 to blowing it up and changing everything in one summer...same summer that team that was in your way breaks up and has a down year. All because Harden couldn't "get along" with CP3.
I can't wait for the season to end one way or another so I can get away from the f'ing negativity that is Clutchfans.
The man that shortened Yao's career. . . . nnnaahhh Couldn't get out of the first round. . . with YAO AND TMAC who all lost to teams far inferior to even that OKC team we just beat???? Rocket River
Chris Paul shat the bed next season, didn't want to pay Ariza, Moute basically retired. Morey built 1 contender in 13 years good lord
He also built this team... Luis Scola Ron Artest 29 Tracy McGrady 29 Yao Ming 28 Carl Landry Aaron Brooks Kyle Lowry Shane Battier Dikembe Mutombo Chuck Hayes
