Westbrook is just not playing winning basketball, and he hasn't been for some years now. I used to be a big Westbrook fan. Ironically, I think his regression took place during his MVP/triple-double years. His defense is terrible, he's often caught watching the ball and letting his man cut for easy layups, he is an opportunistic rebounder and doesn't box out on defense. On offense, he is constantly turning the ball over with ill-advised drives into double/triple team, his passes are often way off, he is still a terrible shooter, and his mid-range game is less efficient than Harden-initiated offense. Most importantly, I want to slap the bone-headedness out of him. He doesn't adjust mid-game - he just keeps on doing the same stuff that puts the team in a hole. He was yapping off at AD after he made a tough shot in the paint - but we were down by 10 points in the last minute! Dude has no awareness at all. This is a damn team sport, but Russ is taking on each game like a personal battle instead of putting the team victory above all else.
Actually he looks like melo to shoot many two points, it doesn't helpful due to lose a lot of rebounds and shooting chances. Houston needs to become the 1st offensive team getting 12x points in each match, otherwise it is difficult to win even westbrooks score 3x points
If we get curry and Thompson, we can play small ball. KD is for shooting 2 points. Westbrook needs to pass some ball to other teammate in the 3 point line to play
