After sending numerous scathing letters and phone calls to Comcast Cable and the NBA. I finally got a positive response...the following is an email that I received today...

In my case, Baltimore is not on the initial list, and for you guys Houston isn't either. But
"with plans to launch to most markets later this year" is also noted. This is a lot better
than the responses that I got in the past which were "no!"

cool..thanks for the update...I wasted to much energy b****ing to Cox Communications about it last season. Turns out for this season Cox carried NBA TV...unfortunately I moved over the summer to a location supported by Comcast. I've been holding in my anger ever since.

Quakes posted this about a month ago, and not too much later, I noticed a message via my cable box. I read the message and it said Comcast would be carrying NBATV in April. Can't remember the exact date. I don't know if that's something they sent out to everybody or just people that would be able to subscribe. I'm in Dallas.

They must have gotten wind of the class action lawsuit I was trying to file! I am in Salt Lake City area and we now have NBATV. Unfortunately, I have already missed all ten + Rocket games that were to be shown this season since the channel just showed up April 1st. I was going to drop Comcast after the season was over, but now I guess I wont. Good move on their part.

    I want my NBATV!!!

Not sure. Like Dr of Dunk said. We'll just have to keep an eye out for the notice...

If not, get that class action lawsuit ready, SLCRocketfan! :D

Ok. Like I said, I'm in the Dallas area and a Comcast subscriber. I just got home and looked at the messages on my digital cable box.

I got a message on March 14th that reads :

Don't miss the thrill of live NBA action on NBA TV with 4 exciting games each week. Launching April 20th on Digital! Extra! Call 1-800-COMCAST to subscribe.
