Most of us here could have done a better job of coaching OKC against the Rockets than this guy.

    Addition by subtraction.

Rockets should’ve beat OKC in 5, we all know this

Billy D isn’t a good coach, but Presti also always gives his coaches 1 of the worst shooting and spacing teams in the NBA year after year.

lmao Donovan finished in 3rd place for this season's Coach of the Year voting.

    What a dumb award.

Okc was supposed to be in a rebuild. No one expected them to perform as well as they did, and taking the series against us to the final moments of game 7 is exceeding expectations.

FWIW don’t expect CP3 back either because they can move his contract for value after his play this year and the length being shorter. They can likely get at least a number one pick and likely more if they take contracts back.

Billy Donovan is an exceptional college coach at building a program by attracting top talent. I have been very critical of him in the NBA but in fairness Westbrook is a terrible player to coach and Donovan doesn’t have shooters. His adjustments in game are mediocre but he does a good job of developing players and his players like him. He won’t have a hard time getting another job if he wants one. I will say this though, if he goes somewhere else he needs a GM that will get him players that fit his style.

Got a way worse draft pick than they were looking for.

Does he want to stay in the nba? no shame in going back to college ball. Would be an instant homerun at a place like ut.

Well they are in rebuilding mode. Why not get a new coach to see what he could do with the draft picks.

No idea, but he's only 55 and multiple NBA teams will be interested. College ball will be there for him, and you're right, I'd hire him for almost any college job.

Don't get me excited about UT, because Shaka's not going anywhere for a year or 2.

He's just as good or bad as their previous coach.
