Clutchfans Game Thread: Lakers @ Rockets 9/8/2020 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 3)

I just want to point out on what House and especially EG has been doing in these series. EG, hats off to you, you may be reading my rants here in Clutchfans about you and I am not afraid to you use it again.

 

I think it's obvious that LeBron and AD will get theirs. As long as we score 105 to 110 points that might be enough for a win, as long as guys like Markiff Morris don't have shooting nights like the second coming of Reggie Miller. Worse, if two of their supporting cast have big nights, we will lose.

Winner of game 3 has about a 70% chance of winning the series, so tonight's game is very important.

 

OK. good point. But, the others had no excuse.

My point was simply that there were lots of players who could have done more, whether scoring or rebounding or both.

 

I am not sure where you get 70% because another Scott Foster game could turn the tides over again pretty easily.

It will go the distance if nothing egregious happens.

 

they have to figure out the late double teams and what Russ should be donig. because whatever he was doing last game was wack

 

Time to kick some butt and have fun doing it!!



Game 3, Take it Back!!

 

Yeah, those two should account for around 60-70 points between them, and the Rockets can live with that. As long as the "others" don't go off for 40-50, Rox should have a decent chance in those games.

Game 1 (Rox win by 15): AD+LBJ = 45, Others (Green/KCP/Morris/Kuzma/Rondo/Caruso) = 33

Game 2 (Lakers win by 8): AD+LBJ = 62, Others = 55

The others were +22 from G1 and the spread between the 2 games was 23 points (+15 to -8). That's the game right there even with Brodie playing so poorly in G2.

 

Nerves already bad. I really do think whoever wins this game wins the series

Lebron PN or as formerly known ESPN is already previewing a lakers v clippers conference final. This disgraceful network has literally no shame. Fox is not much better with Broussard and his Lebron pen!s worshipping

Need a big game from House and Cov tonight

 

Jeff Green is the key. He needs to be more assertive and hit his threes And attack the bucket. He was really poor the other night. Had he played well and despite of Russ we would be up 2-0

 

Russ and Harden both need to show up at the same time. We rarely lose when they both have good to great games. They are paid a combined $80million. It's time for them to play well together.

 

our postseason record w/ marc davis isn't much better, maybe one more win than w/ foster i think
