i'm lost but i'll put two cents in: draft ken johnson at 23. forget about picking T-mo. there...two cents. ------------------
I hope to God this is not the case, but could the femaile be not other than the hated mailman, Kung Fu Karl. Please God no flopping Randy Savage impersonators on my beloved Rockets. ------------------ Liberals favor using artificial means to alter the normal to a state which facilitates and justifies how irresponsible they want to be

This has got to be referring to the trade deal for Walt at the trade deadline that the team asked CD to kill. Is this deal live again? Someone in the Rox organization wants to keep MO T. It's personal to them. MO is the subject of talks anyway. The rockets role players. Five !'s from Doc. Big emphasis on our role players in this deal. Rox are looking at drafting a high school player. "He will be young for a long time." Me too!! AND from earlier: [Doc Rocket] Or, if I said, 'I'm tired of playing 42, let's play pick 'em instead' [jumper] "Pick 'em" is possibly the hated Jazz. [Hydra] I hope to God this is not the case, but could the femaile be not other than the hated mailman, Kung Fu Karl. Please God no flopping Randy Savage impersonators on my beloved Rockets. Zoikes!! Doc, Clutch, Anyone, say it ain't so! ------------------ http://www.luf.org [This message has been edited by jumper (edited June 12, 2001).]
I wonder if that "MO T" remark is in reference to MOrris, Terrence, rather than Maurice Taylor. It seems too obvious, and a throwaway remark. Maybe the high school player is Diop and his health is uncertain. If we land the #7 pick, Diop could be there. Diop and Morris...? Coulda, maybe, shoulda. ------------------
Comment dit-on 'wing' dans francais? aile. D'accord. ------------------ girl you looks good won't you mock that draft up?!
The "rockets r playuz" quote makes me think that they have a shot at Webber. As in players in the sweepstakes. We must be reminded not to forget about that. ------------------ "If you don't understand it, don't try to understand it." -Carl Everett
I just went to Home Depot and bought a sprinkler. It has five options for the area to be covered: circle, semicircle, rectangle, square, and strip. Next door at Best Buy I got a pack of double-A batteries and a two-pack of 9-volts. I looked for an old CD I used to love, "Rat in the Kitchen" by UB-40, but it wasn't there. The guy at the cash register took all day chatting with another employee who was buying a bottle of water. The bottle cost 67 cents. He paid with a credit card. A post card from Jiffy Lube came in the mail. It said I could get $5 off on the next oil change for my Mazda 323 hatchback. But I've already sold that car. I wonder if I can use the coupon on my new car instead. The bag of weed killer I bought is torn. Should I take it back or just go ahead and spread it around the yard? It would be a long drive back. Haagen Dazs German Chocolate Cake ice cream sure is good.

New Orlando Sentinel article out today (the 13th) doesn't even mention Webber as a target for the Magic and instead talks about how Davis is a near lock (according to one unnamed Magic player) to sign provided they can clear cap space. Also says that they'll go after Mutombo with the Magic carpet treatment like they did Duncan last offseason. Not sure if that dispells what Doc Rocket possibly implied about the Magic still being interested in Webber, but Schmitz has had a fair record since the beginning of last season with Magic personnel moves... Judge for yourself. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/basketball/magic/orl-sp-schmitz061301.column?coll=orl%2Dmagic ------------------
Well, just taking that further, since Kidd is from the Bay Area, he might not complain too much about playing in Sac-town; Jason Williams is on his way out; hmnn.... I don't know how we would be in on that 3-team action, but perhaps Gugliotta is the player mentioned as far as health terms? Passing the physical? Cato + #7 pick + Collier (if we get the #7 we take the best 4/3 available for the Suns) + Jason Williams to Phoenix; Kidd and Googs to Sacramento; Webber to Houston? Hey, I didn't say it would happen, but if anyone needs to pass a physical before a trade, it's Googs. ------------------
Has anyone ever heard of REVERSE SPEECH? Maybe we should try that technique to find out what is really be said ------------------ "...Do you hear 'em? They're everywhere!!! AAAHHH!!!" That's what the other teams will be saying after being shellshocked by Steve Francis and Co.
( Of course, I'd have to make sure that the girls are both healthy and disease free. Don't want to take that kind of risk! ) Tale of two Kens Does anyone know if Kenyon Martin's broken leg has healed? ------------------ [This message has been edited by Glyde22 (edited June 12, 2001).]
I'm thinking that the "C D" stands for Chicago & Detroit because both are capitalized & there's a space between them. It might also stand for Washington if you reversed & put them together. Don't forget that Dtroit has allegedly agreed to take Outlaw/Doleac or whatever players to help Orlando out with a trade, so they have to be in the mix somewhere. ------------------
hmm, a female that acts like a male is known as a Tom (Gugliotta) Boy. Hehe, odds are, we're trying to make something out of nothing. Since Clutch knows everything Doc knows, time to skim through the player profiles for any hints.. ------------------ "I think alot of people find Cato's game to be very offensive." -aelliott, comparing the offensive skills of Kelvin Cato and Michael Olowokandi
I think Tracy is an excellent female poster. I wish! I'd definitely not mind losing out on Webber if it meant Tracy came to town. ------------------ Founding Father of the Refs Suck Club
