Im not even mad. I dont feel like the Lakers can play much better than that. Westbrook can be much better, and he will be.

The way we got down 21 and came back in a game they had to win, shows me that they may be the 1 seed but they arent head and shoulders above us. We can beat this team.

AD will have big games and thats fine.... what really hurt us was their bench. Kief, kuz, and rondo were the difference. Ad and bron will do what they do. Gotta keep scrubs in check

It's a series. The better team wins. Let's sit tight and wear them down.

 

All in all. 1-1 is a good result. If we stay 2-2 after 4 games then we have a chance. No margin for error anymore though. We aren't coming back from a 3-1.

 

Seriously Westbrook will probably put up 30 points 11 assists 10 boards the next game... that’s who he is. Either pathetic or really good

d'antoni talked about expending the rotation but you can tell he doesn't have faith in austin rivers and ben mclemore.

 

I've come to accept we're not going to win the championship this year. We're simply not good enough. We've been far too inconsistent.

We're far too predictable when Harden gets double-teamed. That's why Westbrook has to step up big time.... and he's not been the same player since February.

I fully expect the Lakers to double-team Harden from the start of the game now. They know we can go cold from the 3pt line a lot, and they know Westbrook can't shoot. But hey, at least we didn't lose to OKC.... that would have haunted us forever.

 

It's clear to me Russ is not 100%, and if he'd just get proper medical care we'd win this series in 5. Proper care in his case would be about six weeks, starting tonight, of medically-induced coma.

Rockets took the Lakers best shot and would have won if Westbrook didn’t have a horrible game along with rivers and green combining for a whopping 0 points.

 

He is too cool when needed to be a hard ass, and too emotional when needed to be level headed.

 

Guys we are ok. What MDA has got to do is put Westbrook on the block on those small guards opposede to letting him create off the dribble when they are plugging the paint. Let James and Eric Gordon create from the perimeter. When the La defense gets lose then Westbrook can take em at that point not before. Our Defense is fine a few mistakes that have to be cleaned up. Morris Kuzma and Rondo were the difference. The game is working but you cant have 41 minutes of engaged defense. We have to make plays and we will. Turning the ball over was really the killer. MDA has to be better at ingame adjustments. He did sub-par coaching he needs to call a timeout quicker when he is surprised by the other coach's strategy.

 

Absolutely....that what I see as well. And, yes we can win the series but you have to take advantage when opportunities present themselves. And one presented itself tonight ! We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. We could be up 2-0 and more importantly, have the Lakers walking around saying damn we had them down by 21 and they still came back and got us, we could be in trouble.

 

The Rockets gotta win these games because we have no chance in a game 6 or 7 with the refs. The Lakers are not better than we are and Lebron's overrated. Way too many lazy defensive possessions on us tonite

 

I am actually positive barring injuries it can still go to 7.... if Lakers make mistakes though.

 

We went 2-0 against OKC before Russ came back. Just sayin'
