Glad MDA confirmed the eye test, Rockets were not playing offense at normal pace. Played slower than usual.

Rockets spanked Lakers even when they were not playing at their best offensively.

And nice little tidbit about the defense, everyone is so focused on the switch on ball but it's the action behind the play, making sure the correct help/rotation off ball being made is just as critical.

Rockets have lost 8 straight tip offs but the observation that Rockets scheme to make a stop on initial play is fascinating. Rockets don't care about winning jump balls, just making stops after it.

MDA said goal is to make 3 straight stops to start game.

That is a crap load of adjustments to make small ball ultra efficient.

Even when Lakers play small, they do not have speed and agility to slow down Rockets when driving to rim, slips, or when they attack closeouts.

Playing man (small or big) allows Rockets to get whatever they want at the rim or 3ball.

Their best bet is stay big and play zone, pack and protect paint. They can at least prevent layups and hope Rockets are cold from distance.

Zebras will do all they can to help the Lakers on this one. Rockets catch fire from 3. One of Harden or WB goes off for 35-40+. Rox by 9

Everyone's still in denial and thinking last game was just another "Blazers won Game 1". So let's give them another dose of reality with another ass whupping as we take game 2.

Going small or staying big, Lakers do not have the players to match up with Rockets.

Even doubling Harden is recipe for disaster with either Russ or EGo having runways to the rim.

And Vogel is out.of his depth vs. D'Antoni.

Luv seeing this rockets can play either uptempo or grind it down to slow, that makes other teams hard to adjust to.
I believe both the thiic n RoCo did a lot on n off the court to gel mates together as a whole. when y'all saw the beard playing a crazy D in the past two games like that, man, got nothing to worry about.

They gotta force themselves to shoot more 3s n improve their 3pt field goal percentage, but it's always not easy change ya own identify to play like someone else, especially just in a few days.

    LaBron, LaBron, LaBron...
This is what you want to be remembered by? OR is this your only way of saving face because you know the series is already over. This lets the marketing team spin. Selfish but smart move by avoiding the inevitable, from a self-first person —> now go sell more of something now —> your still the best.

Surprised it wasn't a worse injury for Leborn. You don't initiate contact with Tucker's groin and expect to come away unscathed.
