I am not as optimistic about this team as OP. Yesterday was a game that we had to win and we could win, but we didn’t. This says a lot about this team. Our expectations are not merely 2nd round western conference. We had been there multiple times in the past. We made the trades this year, went small, all of that is to be better, but we are stuck with the Thunder - a team has less talent than us. G7 is not given and anything beyond that is wishful. I refuse to even think about it.

If rockets don't advance, the gates of hell will open and a swarm of demons will pull in James Harden's legacy

We're a team built on variance in a city with **** luck for sports and no ref/league bias for winning.

+/-2 gonna raise blood pressures if they advance next round

This series should have been a 4-0 or 4-1 Rockets win -- OKC is not that good of a team.

I would have preferred a 4-0 sweep but the good news about a 7 game series is it might help financially troubled Tilman.

They are a top defensive team, only average on Offense and lack shooters.

The OT game I thought OKC fought valiantly.

House lost his man or whatnot but OKC closed out.

    Ah, Harden fouled out.

No Harden/ Westbrook is a problem for the Rockets.

Should have won in 5, game 3 was stolen from us. Refs might as well be on the thunder payroll. Want to see a mentally strong Harden finish out game 7. Chris Paul embarrassed him on and off the court. Man I miss Dream.

I wasn’t glad we went to 7, just seemed to me that Russ needed more time to knock the rust off and they needed more time integrating him back in the offense and settling the rotation. The flow with him on the floor is completely different since he is the only non shooter in the rotation. That makes a big difference and if he can’t be in attack mode when he catches the ball, the spacing is completely screwed up. Saw some positive signs game 7 and it continued into last night.

I wouldn’t go that far. Lucky guess. I’m not much of a gambling man so of course you take a Game 6 series ending win if you can pick. If Westbrook hadn’t started to remotely resemble Westbrook again, none of this would’ve mattered anyways. My observation was based purely on the idea that Game 5 and 6 Westbrook wasn’t going to cut it and be good enough to help us win Game 1 against LA.
