OKC guards and Noel are all very good at shuffling their feet and keeping up on drives. Austin's whole game is predicated on getting separation after that first step. Without it, he gets out of rhythm and is a non-factor on the floor. I don't see that same defensive agility on the Lakers, hence my optimism.

Will agree that he could continue throwing up bricks from 3, but if he can attack the rim and collapse the D, he will be a welcome addition to the rotation.

Losing record in retros and whites.

Let's stick to the blacks and reds, any edge we can get.

Pippen was more skilled than the fake 2× MVP that cant get the "best" team in the weak ass East into a single Finals.

    And I HATE Quitten!

And what kind of DPOY does not demand defending opposing teams best player??!!??

Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma always go off against us. I'm hoping that's not the case on this series.

Looking forward to the return of McLemore. And hopefully Austin Rivers becomes effective again. Both could not handle OKC's extremely athletic guard lineup. I think they can play against the Lakers though.

I was thinking the same thing. It should be easier for McLemore to get open this series and start bombing threes again.

And 2nd place is not even close.

PJ is a bull when it comes to defending bigs.

PJ is also our top 3 best perimeter defenders.

PJ has averaged 7 points/6 rebounds in 32 minutes during him time in Houston. Those numbers look terrible but his defense is so elite we can't rest him enough.

Wednesday night's Game 7 against the Thunder was the most watched game since the restart and ranked 5th among most watched games for the entire NBA season. That's remarkable when you consider that one team was from Oklahoma City, hardly a large market, and the other was from Houston, a pretty large market, but rarely treated like one in the media. That sets up the Rockets/Lakers series as a big ratings bonanza for the league.

Who knows? Maybe we'll get "A-List" people calling the games. I'm up for that. I doubt if it'll have any impact on the officiating, since we seem to consistently get screwed in that department. Maybe the league front office will ask the refs to be a bit more polite when they give us the shaft. How delightful!

LMAO, i'll believe it when i see it.

Although, i would like to see BMac get more playing time. I think his offense can make up for his defensive deficiencies.
