In San Francisco, face coverings are mandatory in most public settings. Salons may only cut hair outdoors under new rules that took effect on Tuesday

    "The b**** set me up":

    https://www.outsidethebeltway.com/nancy-pelosis-haircut/

    excerpt:

Whatever the facts of the matter, this is just a bizarre response. “The b**** set me up” didn’t work for Marion Barry and it’s especially unbecoming here.

Pelosi not only represents the district in question in Congress—and should therefore by sufficiently in touch with the circumstances of her constituents to know whether they’re allowed to get haircuts—but she’s the Speaker of the House. She has an enormous personal staff to make sure she’s not stepping into political landmines.

She’s the most effective Speaker in recent memory and a talented politician. It’s simply bizarre that she’s responding to a one-day mini-scandal as though she were an amateur.

How come nobody ever talks about her ample bosom? As far as looks go, she's someone Fatty would be bragging about at 5am in the Hangout.

Ok I see what Pelosi did wrong and it was definitely a setup it seems she did flaunt the rules but I can also see her not knowing what the exact rules where and she went off of what her hairdresser said.

Don't see the upside for the owner if she wants to continue her business in SF..

Anyway no excuse she should have known.

So in San Francisco they have tighter rules than the rest of other cities or the rest of Cali. for that matter and SHE should have known given the business she is in. Unreasonable attacks on business owners that go way beyond reasonable and the bass turd liberals think it’s ok when there side (Leadership at least) circumvents the rules that others must adhere to ...have I missed anything?

Yep, Pelosi should have followed the rules. Now that that's out of the way, how do you feel about the President flaunting local and state ordinances?

Except it was the business owner who started all this.

I mean Pelosi was obviously mislead by a hair stylist and the owner decided that Pelosi was a better target than the stylist. Instead of ending work with the stylist he went after the customer as it would be more attention grabbing.

But shouldn't the hairdresser know the rules via the owner and it's on the hairdresser to responsibly book the room? If the room isn't allowed to be book, how is it that the hairdresser booked it and didn't get any flak for doing that?

How is Pelosi supposed to know what is allowed or not allowed at a hair salon - wouldn't you depend on the information she gets from the salon / hairdresser?

Poor Nancy. Too bad she dodn't have a personal aide to keep up with the bullshit that comes out of her mouth.

Nobody really cares she broke the rules. Its on par. But don't defend her. Even people like Harris feel ignorance of the law is not an excuse.

Nancy probably broke the rules. I don't like anyone playing it unsafe with Covid-19. I have lost people I know during this pandemic, have other friends and family that have been or still are horribly ill.

I also know hairdressers in places where they are allowed to be open and know how seriously they take their regulations, have one client at a time, disinfect everything in between clients, wear masks, and trust that it can be done safely.

That being said, this really isn't a big issue. Protests and campaign rallies with more infractions affecting larger numbers of people are where the attention should be focused.

I love that the little MAGA morons are trying to make this a big deal.

Did she **** up? Yes, looks that way. Is it a crisis? Not in the grand scheme of things. Is it a big deal on a remotely close level to any/everything that Cheeto In Chief has done? No, not even remotely close.

    End story.
