If there was ever a time to pull out of context quotes, this thread is a gold mine for that.:D

I kinda feel the opposite; I feel like Game 1 is the one to win. The Lakers have played one game in the last week and a half, so they'll be rested, but they'll also be rusty. Also, since they lost Game 1 to the Blazers, it seemed like they were in complete control of that series and haven't played much high stakes basketball in the bubble, especially since they had the No. 1 seed on lockdown so early. On top of that, they haven't played the Rockets' small ball lineup with their full roster in like half a year, so they won't have had time to make adjustments yet.

The Rockets need to take the intensity of that Game 7 into this one, take advantage of rusty play and the benefits of small ball, and win the hell of that game on Friday. Don't give LA time to adapt and get comfortable in the series.
