I'm laughing so loud, this is hilarious. Just listen to the song while you're on the first pic.

Nah, **** Chris Paul. He failed us here and he failed his new team as usual. He can enjoy the rest of the playoffs while eating his vegan diet back home.

He showed us what he’s built for once again. A lot of yapping and a lot of losing. Good riddance

I just told you I didnt like it. Harden has done dirty stuff on the court in his career too.

So what was his excuse for Cp being better than him the whole year? All metrics point to it. Dude cant even hold his own when Harden goes to the bench. I really like the guy and he'll have his chance to prove me wrong next series but Cp is very clearly the better player at 35.

And worse impact metrics than Cp. Westbrook can't even hold his own when Harden goes to the bench and thats even after small ball. You know who could even in his down year....Chris Paul. And once again I love Russ....and I hope he definitely shuts me up during the Lakers series.

Russ held his own in the 3rd quarter when beard started spamming his Step back 3s.

And what happend the game before that? Even in this game Russ was bricking layups and not making the right read offensively in the 4th. All this rusty crap isnt an excuse when the dude has had playoff performances like that before(and yea I know Paul was bad last playoffs as well).

But...to be fair like Harden he did do excellently in the clutch on defense...like real good.

damn right he did... came in with back to back buckets.... he’s got balls of steel when the game is on the line... if he doesn’t come through there, they were going to pull away... not every player can do that

How is it not an excuse? He clearly is very rusty.

the game before that he looked like he was touching a basketball for the 1st time in weeks...his handle and passing accuracy isn’t the greatest to begin with, but damn, game 6 was the loosest handle and worst passing you’ll ever see from a PG

It's not an excuse because he literally had no turnovers the game before that.

He wasnt like super amazing this game either, like we are losing any time he's on the floor by himself. He did well this game but overall I still think Paul outplayed him this game as well.

I dont want to fight about this bro, lf he can go off against the Lakers then he will shut me up, but until then I would still rather have Cp.

I am sure OKCs will be rooting for us against the Lakers, as I was ready to root for them had they won Gm7.

That’s because he hardly looked to use any explosion or create in his 1st game. He still looked just as rusty in game 5 as he did in game 6, the only difference is that we blew them out so he didn’t need to make many plays.

well Harden wanted Russ, so bye CP3 it is...if he was playing like this last season, maybe he’d still be here

maybe motivation from being traded is what was the catalyst for CP3 to play much better than last year and have 1 of his healthiest seasons

couldn’t get by anyone last year and nowhere to be found against GS until game 6, but in this playoffs no one could stay in front of him and he’s the most clutch player in the league (except for in game 7)...CP3, what’s up with that?

I honestly think it's two fold as to why CP3 all of a sudden had a Prime CP3 year:

    1. The pettiness and revenge he wanted to exact on Houston because everything that led up to and after the trade made him look washed up.

    2. By him playing at this high of a level he is letting all teams know that he's still CP3 and should be considered as a player to be traded for.

That last one is probably the bigger of the two as Presti, Donovan and he probably made a commitment to each other that if they gave Paul the keys to the team and let him run it he, in turn, will stay as healthy as he can and mentor SGA and the other young guys. When the time is right, Presti can try to ship Paul out to a team of his choosing for something palatable (e.g. more draft picks, young player, etc.)

If Dort can develop a 3 ball that has to be respected, he is gonna make a ton of money.

My point is that he was very capable of not turning it over like he did and played horribly. He didnt need to do more than what he did in game 5 and thats what was so frustrating.

True on both counts. I still think James made the wrong decision. But we live and die with him so its whatever. If Cp had been playing like this we definitely would have beaten GS.

Yea I dunno what happend last year, I really dont. He may have just been out of shape and had a down year physically. Its a shame but Chris playing the way he did and him having the over bearing personality that he does is why it ended up like this.
And Presti will get that deal done and we can be sure that he will win that trade. He's very good at securing assets.

Still who wouldn't trade WB for CP3 right now? What could have been.
