I swear he read my tweets to him and took it to heart.

Here will be gold as he won’t have to guard smaller And quicker guards anymore.

Ariza is not even close to RoCo, defensively OR offensively.

Covington was perfect defensively (except guarding cp3), and his shot is recovered. But what with his driving ability? He is so
unconfident on drives to the rim or whithin restricted area (3 missed layups today). Threes are good when it fly, but he need some inside scoring attempts to become more effective offensivly.

he's the perfect help defender on AD or lebron near the paint,

i think the lakers are ******** in their pants rights now. They know all the pressure is on them, and they know what they're up against.

Well AD you got what you wanted. no more excuses. We'll see how good you really are. Will you settle for taking 3s or will you go down low on shorter players. i think AD has the most pressure on him. Lebron will do his thing.

RoCo has been on fire from 3 last 4 games of OKC series.

If he could drive he would make 30 million a year. Not every player on a team can do everything.

When I was was watching old Rockets 1992 - 1995 Robert Horry Perimeter Defense at the 3 Point Line and Shot Blocking looked similar to Robert Covington. 7'3 Wingspan disrupting passes and getting steals with his long arms. That is exactly what I saw eoth Robert Horry and Hakeem Olajuwon Defense their length on defense and quickness on steals and blocks.

I agree but RoCo drives better than Ariza.

Ariza was better at staying in front of guards, playing positional defense, and importantly not FOULING constantly.

Love both guys. Covington is the Ariza replacement finally but they are different players. And hitting those 3s is absolutely key.

I've actually been warming to getting a PJ replacement, at least to reduce PJs role. This team would be that much better if it had another 2 way instead of 1 way forward in the top of the rotation.
