I mean let's be real, Harden looked lethargic AF for the first three quarters and could have played better for sure, but it's not a coincidence he plays badly in every Foster game. He knows that every time he's aggressive on offense, he's not going to get a call, and will be lucky to avoid a charge. So he just jacks up 30 footers.

Also, he played well in the 4th Q at least, especially defensively. Was like 2 for 4, 3-4ish assists, 0 TOs (I think), 2 [huge] blocks...

Not up to his overall offensive standards, obviously, even in the 4th, but I was relieved to see him bring some energy to close the game. Was worried good ol' Scott had shut him down mentally.

Lu Dort played a hell of a game. You can't argue that. We won. Harden had a key block on Dort at the end of the game to help seal the victory. It was ugly and the Thunder wanted it that way. Learn and move on.

Using your stupid ass logic. If cp3 has the "heart of the champ" cp3 would have:
    - also put up 50 in games like this
-have already been to the finals.
-this game would be close to over.
-If he did, he'd put up 20+ in the fourth and help thunders pull away

See how stupid your criticism of harden is? If cp3 has the heart of the champ y cant he do what u claim players "with heart of a champ do"? Haters just got hate.

Haters, please exit through the back door. We are in the middle of a playoff run. Thank you, that will be all.

    That was a championship-level block.

    His shot will come around

He scrapped and fought in that 4th quarter, when he would’ve relented in the past. That is growth. Let’s enjoy the moment

Harden is so trash in Game 7 and clutch situations. Not like Hakeem. Rocket were lucky to win this series.

Yeah 3/4 of the game playing horribly gets negated by 8 minutes of action? That's not how it works. Maybe if James was great in the 1st 3 quarters, the Rockets don't have to go down to the wire where a loss was easily possible.

Harden didn’t shoot the 3 ball well at all and and after the game even admitted that offensively he “played like ****” but he was very good defensively the entire game and when came back in with 8 minutes left played very well. He scored and passed very well and had 2 big blocks the last few minutes of the game.

So why is it that you guys do the reverse for game 6 then?

We’re talking about “heart of a champion” and you bring up CP3? I mean, look, the guy’s a great player, hall of famer, but what the hell has he ever won?

His Clipper teams routinely choked in series they should have won. The only time he’s gotten past the second round was with Harden.

James was great for the first 3/4 of games in this series and all the complaints were he wasn’t good the last quarter...

Harden shot the 3 very poorly tonight and that really is why he played poorly scoring wise. Defensively, he was excellent all night and came through when the game was on the line. Scoring or assisting on the last 13 points of an elimination game is very big.

Ultimately, he still has a chance to make something happen.

And does one bad shooting game negate the overall great series he had offensively? By your logic it shouldn’t.

I love CP3. I wish he were still a Rocket... but he is now 0-2 against Harden/Rockets in the playoffs and has (at best) a checkered playoff history. He ran his mouth after game 6 and cried after game 7.

Harden had an overall good 4th quarter and played good defense all game.

I would say Harden doesn't have "it" until he wins it all. The fact that losing to OKC/getting embarrassed by traded CP3 came down to a coin flip... speaks volumes.
