After watching today I wonder if they lost those games on purpose to get Westbrook some reps in before Lakers series. If he plays like he did today vs Lakers we have no chance. They needed him to get a couple games under his belt before the real test.

Commentators and writers will slither around and latch on to anything they can do to discount or avoid talking about Harden.

Harden's playoff failures are highly exaggerated.

    Read carefully.

He's had a good series so far, definitely on par with his RS performance overall. Last game he didn't need to exert himself so much as other guys were stepping up, need more of that.

Not sure how much solace Rocket fans can take from that when the two guys ranked ahead of Harden on that list are also the two most likely opponents the Rockets will have to beat to get to the NBA finals.

Stats look great. His stats usually do. But they don’t tell the complete story. I’ll say it again, like I mentioned in others threads, we need Harden to be a superstar when the team needs him most and to have the killer mentality to will the team to victory - he’ll be tested next round, looking forward to it.

Great #s still doesn’t excuse the laziness at the end of game 3. Could have easily finished this series already. Oh well. He needs to finish this tomorrow

Last I checked he was shooting 48 percent from the floor so how is that low Einstein? Infact that’s higher hen his regular season percentage

If we're aiming to win a championship then this should be expected. This is just the 1st round...

Let's get the Lakers before you start celebrating

How about you turn up after a good harden game instead of hiding

He has at times played poorly at the end of close games. However there also have been many, many times he has played very well at the end of close games.

The last two years, in the last 6 minutes of games where the game difference is under 10 points... Harden leads the league in scoring by a huge amount, is 2nd in the league in assists and has a TS of over 60....

So while there are times where Harden has either turned the ball over or gone cold at the end of games in the clutch, we also tend to forget all the times where he comes through... because, well he is James Harden.

dude harden has been great in the playoffs, what are you critisizing him for. Not his fault the refs have been favoring okc

and check this chart out. according to elo rating we would be the favorites againist any team in the nba besides the clippers

Not really, both Lebron and Kawhi have always been on historically stacked teams with at LEAST one other All Star playing alongside them.

Harden is right behind both without those resources but THIS season he is finally playing with a true All Star of his own.

And Rockets are elite on offense AND defense in this postseason.

Neither Lebron nor Kawhi scare the Rockets.

    With good reason.

So in other words... Those numbers/ranking for kawhi/LeBron aren't indicative of much?
