One good year? He is having a good year since he picked up basketball as a kid, wherever and whoever he played. He doesn't rely on brute force he just knows how to play, he was born with it and it is not going away

The rockets supporting cast is good too. Weren’t there posts when the season started that harden is getting the help then with the Covington trade. Then Jeff green. It seems like people really praise the role players when things are going well then all sudden saying the other team have better role players than the rockets when rockets starts losing.

Finney smith hardway jr trey Burke Michael Kidd gilchrist man. They were nobody until this series with the clippers. The other curry brother is decent. Doncic is really good and is not even healthy right now playing against the team that is projected to win it all. Im a big rockets fan started watching since early 90s. I kind of agreee that doncic already has smarter basketball iq than harden. Not taking anything from harden but it’s very frustrating to watch him play at times.

A lot players are good in their days before the NBA. Some flourishing, others not. He's been in the league two years. This year improved over last. What is wrong with waiting for him to clock a few more years, wait and see, before crowning him the next King of the league.

A lot? Like who? LeBron? Kareem? Duncan? this list is short. And don't hit me with just college stars because euroleague finals compared to college is like army compared to airsoft. may I remind you he also won eurocup with Slovenia with Finals MVP at like 18 years old. And you saw team USA play against France, Spain etc in WorldCup 2019

What I mean is that most guys in the NBA, even the bench guys were studs in preNBA levels; be it HS/College/or other leagues. They're normally a starter if not a number 1 option at those levels. Once in the NBA, some thrive, others not. Euroleague is better now, but you can easily cite many euros that came to the NBA and didn't cut the mustard.

Listen, if folks are excited for Luka, then go cheer him on. Put on a Mavs jersey if that helps. One thing I"m guilty of is contributing to a Kellerman, top-of-the-day, that is turning into 20+ pages. I don't think even Max professes his love for Luka as much as some of you guys.

No one is saying cheer for him. Just acknowledge his trajectory is through the roof.

luka can be the next harden( or better)

trae young needs solid defenders around him to save him from being exposed on defense( like stephen curry)

its basically the 2009 draft 8 years later lol

A lot of Kellerman's take I disagree, but this one I somewhat agree. The only problem with Doncic is health issue, he has missed games every season granted only 2 seasons. A lot of his stats are padded stats like what Brodie did in OKC and Harden a few years ago. Harden wears Rockets so no tilting who I love.

Luka contract is probably the hottest contract in the league. Is he currently a better player than Harden no, but he is extremely good and he is only 21. If you took current Harden and put him in a 21 year old body that contract would also skyrocket. Dallas would not do a Luka for Harden trade straight up even if their contract was the same price.

Curry is a champion (including without a super team), an MVP and a scoring champ. Luka can not be in that conversation.

curry is just popular and a 3 point specialist nothing more, nothing less. Curry cant carry a team like harden, prime lebron and luka

Sorry but that's ridiculous, Curry beat Lebron in 2015 and he was the only superstar on the Warriors while playing against a team far outspending him and far more experienced. The following season Curry led his team to 73 wins, the best regular season in NBA history.

Luka has never done a quarter of that, he is not in that conversation. I can see it in his future, but he is not in the same league right now.

Iggy was guarding Lebron. While Matt delladova was guarding curry. Surely curry should have been finals mvp right

It doesn't matter, my point is that Luka has not made it to the 2nd round yet. The idea that Luka is in a tier above Curry is not reasonable, unless you are predicting for the future.

I’m saying I would take luka over curry and not over harden. I’ll guess we have to agree to disagree

It's pretty simple, to win now; harden, to have for the next 15 years; doncic
